Einfache türkische Küche. Aber at its best. Es gibt zwischen 7 – 10 wechselnde Gerichte, die täglich frisch zubereitet werden. Auch vegetarisch. Menü mit Salat, der übrigens auch hervorragend schmeckt, 7.50 Euro. Preis Leistung kann kaum besser sein.

Had the vegetarian special which was plenty for two to share, plus very inexpensive. Five different dishes on one plate, plus salad and bread. Loved the food, everything was very good.

Ich war wirklich begeistert vom Essen (Lamb Kabob)! Die Portionen sind üppig, das Fleisch war super gewürzt, und die Beilagen waren sehr lecker! Wir mussten auch nicht lange auf unsere Bestellung warten. Der Preis ist zwar etwas höher, aber angemessen für die Größe der Portionen.
Unser Kellner hätte etwas netter und bemühter um uns seien können, deswegen gibt es einen Stern weniger.
Wir werden wir aber trotzdem auf jeden Fall wieder kommen — nicht nur wegen der perfekten Lage ;) Dann haben wir mit der Bedienung vielleicht auch etwas mehr Glück!

Very good. It was recommended by a Turkish business guy I met that works nearby and said it tasted like the food his family cooks in Turkey.
Lunch service is fast because you can pick from an assorted attractive buffet or you can order from the menu. I recommend it. Food tastes very well

We actually went out of our way to find this place. We’d heard that the Turkish food in Berlin was fantastic and this restaurant had good reviews, so we came here for lunch. We were not disappointed!
The waiter/​owner (?) was very pleasant. He did not speak English, but with the help of a lady sitting next to us, we ordered exactly what we wanted. (By the way, they do have menus; you have to ask for them.) My husband and I each got a hefeweizen – 0,5 liters, which was a bit too much for me, but oh well. My husband got the lamb kabob and I got the beef patties. Each plate came with salad, rice, vegetables, and condiments. The lamb came with grilled bread. The meats were juicy and flavorful. The rice pilaf was excellent: fluffy and well seasoned. And the yogurt sauce… So good!
We ended the meal with espresso and Turkish black tea. It was a lot of food, so I don’t think we’ll be hungry again for awhile. Whether you are in the neighborhood or make a special trip, this restaurant is definitely worth a look!

Ich liebe das Essen dort. Immer frisch zubereitet und ECHTES türkisches Essen. Schmeckt original wie in der Türkei. Meine Empfehlung: Das Hähnchen oder Musakka (Aubergine mit Hackfleisch). Mir läuft schon beim Schreiben das Wasser im Mund zusammen…
Wurde übrigens gerade umgebaut. Auch wenn es noch nicht ganz fertig ist, finde ich es jetzt noch etwas schöner…

Sehr leckeres und günstiges türkisches Essen. Und ein wirklich freundlicher Chef auch zu den Kindern, die mit dabei waren.

My two companions and I were looking for lunch earlier today. As we didn’t want to venture too far, we stumbled upon this place, which was a Turkish restaurant. They don’t seem to have a menu; when we sat down at the outdoor table, they told us to come inside and «look» at the kitchen, and they just explained what they were cooking that day.
For 6,00 EUR, one can get a platter containing one’s main dish of choice, plus rice and salad. Some options are more expensive, and has a 1,50 EUR surcharge, which, for that day, applied for the lamb stew. Also, if you want an extra main dish, then the surcharge applies as well.
For two platters, we just paid 18,00 EUR all in all, including drinks. The food was tasty, it felt more hole in the wall than restaurant. The clientele are mostly Turkish. And the aura is definitely authentic.
This is one of those places that I wish is close to my workplace. I always love these cheap yet very tasty joints, thanks to the diverse population of this awesome city.

Sehr lecker zubereitete türkische küche, sehr empfehlenswert

Sehr gutes Essen, nette Bedienung, authentisches Ambiente: Wie ein Kurzurlaub in der Türkei.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen dort. Wir hatten einmal Grillteller und einmal Dorade. Beides war wie schon von anderen Besuchern angegeben sehr lecker. Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Bei dem schönen Wetter konnten wir auch draussen sitzen.

Sehr leckere Vorspeisen, einfaches aber gutes Hauptgericht (gegrillte Dorade) und freundliche Bedienung. Das alles zu einem günstigen Preis. Vielen Dank an die Vor-​Qyper für den guten Tipp!

Kleines gemütliches restaurant. Alles was ich hier jemals gesessen habe, war frisch zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut.
Freundliche, unaufdringliche Bedingung, das Restaurant ist sauber und das Essen gut und günstig.

Genau neben dem Balkaymak… ehrliche küche…sauber und sehr lecker…
mal ausprobieren… wirklich ein geheimtip unter türken.

Besonders leckeres mittagsangebot. Kann man echt nur weiter empfehlen wenn man auf arabische küche steht die am besten jeden morgen frisch zubereitet wird.
Im Menü gibts dann noch zusätzlich reis und einen kleinen salat der ab und an schon mal ein wenig zu salzig ist. Aber das trübt noch lange nicht das gesamtbild.
