Knödelwirtschaft

This place is an experience.
The restaurant is typical Berlin, and a homage to the creative spirt of kreuzberg/​Neukolln district; rough, edgy interior but oozing warmth and openness from the extremely helpful staff.
I’ll be honest, I stood outside debating wether or not to try it, as i didn’t know what to make of the place as i looked through the window — the interior at the time of writing being so incredibly basic — but the host/​servester saw me doubting and came outside to invite my wife and I inside — I’m so very glad she did — we had a wonderful evening and the food was absolutely delicious.
The clientele were also equally open and we soon struck up a conversation with another couple, the husband of which is head chef in a 5 star hotel restaurant. He confirmed that the food was indeed excellent.

Tolles Essen und sehr schmackhaft!
Wer mal etwas anderes in der Fülle der Berliner Restaurants probieren möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Leckere Knödel, zart und weich, in unterschiedlichen Varianten. Wir hatten auf der Karte Knödel mit Speck, mit Käse, mit Löwenzahn und mit Rotkohl. Die Auswahl an Knödeln soll wohl ab und zu wechseln. Zum Nachtisch gibt es auch einen süßen Knödel. Das Konzept geht auf und das Restaurant war voll, Reservierung empfohlen. Schlichtes und einfaches Design der Räume nach «Omis Küche».
Fazit: Wer auf Knödel steht, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten, sehr lecker und einen Besuch wert.

Besser geht es einfach nicht! Die Knödel sind super, der Preis ist fantastisch und die Bedienungen sind immer freundlich. Einfach klasse!

Not a huge fan of Knödel until I visited Knödelwirtschaft. Awesome place, cozy, really nice staff and what to say about the Knödel… Super lecker!!! I ordered Kässe, Speck, and Rotkraut; this last one was really really good.
Will definitely go back!

Knödel at its best! We were really blown away by the concept and the delicious products of this restaurant. It’s a really simple place, with minimalist interior and a warm feeling that comes up right after entering. They only offered Knödel, so we tried all different kinds and they were really good! Nice service, great food, good prices and of course great beer. It was a great dinner!!!

Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, die Bedienung wunderbar und die Knödel superlecker. Hat mich an Zuhause erinnert und das Ganze zu einem sehr guten Preis. Also unbedingt hingehen!
