Hommage À Magritte, Boutique Hotel und B&B

I absolutely loved my stay here while I was in Berlin last November. The location is in a quiet area just two steps from noisy and glittering Kurfuerstendamm. Plenty of galleries, restaurants and bars. The real shopping paradise for amateurs of exquisite vintage clothing. We enjoyed everything: the delicious breakfast with freshly ground coffee, good organic food and every cup of espresso served with cookies. The murals painted by a Spanish trompe l’oeil artist (a good friend of the owners family who visits the place from time to time) were more than impressive. We had a rather small but beautiful decorated room with a picture of a huge violoncello painted direct on one wall and a picture of a cello french bow on the other. Our stay at Hommage was a succes and almost everything was perfect. Almost, because if you look for parking space on the street, you will find out, that there is no alternative to parking lots in two other hotels. And they are not cheap, not cheap at all.

We stayed here from 2^nd to 5^th of November 2012. This hotel combines the best things a visiting the german capital traveler is looking for. A fabulous location near Kurfuerstendam, rooms with great mural paintings, brand new, modern and comfortable furniture, terrific atmosphere and a fabulous service. And, very important, it is not noisy at all. Probably the best breakfast (included in room rate!) one can in this price segment in Berlin. I will be a regular!!!
