We stopped by Ho Lee for a weekday lunch mainly because the Thai and Vietnamese restaurants nearby were closed and we wanted a quick meal. Service was fast since we were the only customers.
I ordered beef chow fun and requested spicy. Although the dish came out spicy, I still added more chili sauce because there wasn’t a whole lot of flavor. I was also surprised it was so greasy with too much oil; it was pretty slippery to eat with plastic chopsticks. I didn’t finish my order even though I was hungry. From the picture menu and for the price I expected better.
On the plus side, the furnishings were better than a typical family-​run Chinese restaurant, and the owner or manager was nice.

Hier stimmt so ziemlich alles. Die saubere Einrichtung ist nicht so verkitscht, wie sonst in vielen anderen Chinarestaurants üblich, die Speisekarte ist sehr angenehm bebildert und appetitanregend gestaltet, die Bedienung ist freundlich, jedoch nicht aufdringlich, man bekommt auf Anfrage authentische (nicht eingedeutschte) chinesische Küche und das auf Wunsch sogar frei von Glutamat.
Fazit: Wir waren hier schon desöfteren und jedesmal sind wir wieder positiv überrascht. Es lohnt sich!

Irgendwo stand mal, dass Jackie Chan auf einem Berlin-​Besuch im Ho Lee war, aber das ist viele Jahre her.
Im Ho Lee gibt es kantonesische Kueche. Auf die Frage nach Empfehlungen kam wenig bei rum. Das Essen war nicht gut, die Zutaten sahen nicht wirklich frisch aus. Danach hatte ich keine grosse Lust, dem Restaurant nochmal eine Chance zu geben.

riesen Portionen, sehr lecker original chinesische Gerichte! Wird immer sehr gut von China Touristen belagert. Bedienung ist sehr sehr nett!
