This place smells smth weird.
Just walk 5 more mins towards Hermannplatz and on Weserstr. you will find lots of places that are designed like that but are much more better than Geist im Glas.

Geist Im Glas is actually a bar but a place that serves brunch AND booze sound hella good to me!
You have three different dishes on the menue which we tested all. Decide between pancakes, biscuits in grazy or the nacho plate. All of them are nice eventhough none of us was impressed by the pan cakes which were a bit too solid and not fluffy. My bisuits where solid too but went very well with the mushroom gravy. Our favourite was the lowcarb nacho plate which comes with different cream e.g. guacamole and smashed beans.
Geist Im Glas played the brunch game pretty fair!

Un bar très très sympa en plein coeur de Berlin, aussi bien en terme de déco, que de musique et de boissons !
La salle principale est plutôt spacieuse, et dans la 2ème il est même possible de s’installer sur une mezzanine :) Bön ok, gravir une échelle en portant son verre c’est pas évident, mais le concept est top !
Le bar propose des bières, du vin, mais également une large palette de cocktails (un peu cher à mon goût) qui ont plutôt l’air de faire l’unanimité auprès des adeptes.
Je suis bien contente d’y être arrivée en «début» de soirée (vers 22h) car il c’est vite remplit par la suite et il était difficile d’obtenir une place !
Alors, tu sais pas où aller ce soir?

An amazing discovery. Super cool aesthetic, nice «grown and sexy“music (think D’Angelo), relaxed vine, romantic lighting, candles everywhere, exposed bricks walls, ceiling fans. It feels like a cozy, oasis from the craziness of Berlin. I might have found a new favorite bar.

This bar is a pleasant discovery!
The atmosphere is cozy: the walls are bare and the place is light with candles. It’s the perfect place for a drink when you’re two, but also for small groups. It is a cocktail bar that has no card, but I recommend their home made liquor (rum, tequila, gin). I drank a gin and tonic with infused lemon and basil with elderflower tonic that was delicious. That’s the best choose ’cause they are not so good in classical cocktails.

Eine richtig gediegene Bar zwischen der U-​Bahn Station Schönleinstr & Hermannplatz!
Durch Zufall haben wir diese nette Bar nahe dem Kottbusser Damm gefunden. Schon von außen sah die Bar sehr einladend aus. Die Getränkeauswahl ist sehr gut & lecker und besonders cool waren die Sitzgelegenheiten im Hinterraum direkt unter der Decke, auch wenn das Hochkommen leichter war als der Abstieg…
Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn man in der Gegend ist!

Gleich in der Nähe der Sonnenallee und der Weserstrasse in Neukölln findet man eine kleine Bar– Geist im Glas. Liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut besucht. Leider finde ich die Preise mit 7 € für Boston Mule (9 € in der Odessa an der Torstrasse) etwas zu hoch. Es schmeckt gut aber könnte doch weniger Ginger Ale und mehr Guten Bourbon vertragen ;) an sich aber normale Preisklasse. Szeniges Design.
Die zwei Sterne sind mehr wegen Raucherkneipe (bin großer Fan des nicht Rauchens oder Abteilungen für Raucher in einer Bar) und für das «keine Musik im Background» ansonsten auf jeden Fall mal einen Besuch wert– wenn man mal wieder in Neukölln ist :)

Having just gone there tonight with an old friend, I ordered a glass of «Green Mark» vodka and was served a cheap brand, for double the price, poured into the same bottle. After I pointed to the fact I was insulted by the waitress telling me that I had a «poor attitude» and that I needed to leave the premises, which I gladly did.
I’ve been to this place before and it seems like they only hire personnel who present you with the highest air of arrogance.
If I had bee able to give this place zero stars, I would have.

Awesome kitchen and a good selection of vodka infusions. The smoking inside is permitted starting from 10pm so the first 3 hours are perfect to enjoy good food, get a bit buzzed and get out.
The place is quite compact and atmosphere very energetic so if you happen to be around — go check it out and have a go at trying the food that is more on the fancy side.

Taco Night Sundays – maybe the only place you can get homemade tortillas in Berlin. Only 2.5 Euro or 3 for 6. Infusions of all kinds of alcohol, including mango and chili pepper blanco tequila and licorice root bourbon. Apricot margaritas for 5 Euro, and they are delicious.
Candles everywhere, excellent mood lighting. A great warm feeling in the bar.
Go here; you won’t be sorry.
