J’ai été assez surpris des nombreux commentaires de gens déçus, mais c’est peut-​être parce que nous y avons été dans une période de faible affluence pour prendre juste un dessert. Mais quel dessert, un apfelstrudel vraiment délicieux, le tout dans le cadre agréable d’une journée ensoleillée au bord de la Spree.
A mon avis, le mieux pour vraiment profiter des pâtisseries, est de venir en heure creuses, genre entre 14h et 16h et de né prendre qu’un dessert. Ce qui au final est plutôt cohérent, n’oublions pas que c’est un salon de thé, pas une brasserie.

Friedrichs 106 is the café/​restaurant from the. The restaurant isn’t huge. But it located at really nice place. It close to the S –baht station, also there a a U-​Bahn station around, and it is right next to the River Spree. Very close to the shopping and tourist area.
I went there to try their Schnitzel, which as I heard it made in the original way, instead of pork, they stay with beef. I personally like it, tasted quite different with the one i usual to have, in the good way. Plus couple nice drinks, I did quite enjoy my meal here.
The service here are really friendly and nice. They came quite often to check, is everything ok or is that anything I like to have. And most of them could speak English and German. On their menu is also two languages at one. So no worries that order something u got no idea what is it.
Pity, when I was here, it was already winter time. The restaurant has a very nice view because of the location. If I come here in summer, sure will find a table outside, and have myself a café or a meal, in the same time enjoy the view.

Very disappointed by this place. Came here for breakfast on the weekend and not only was the service slow even though the place was still empty, the breakfast was meager. The croissants tasteless and tea not even hot. The service was pretty poor too. This place is crowded during the day but that must be just the tourists. It’s a nice location overlooking the river but not worth it. Better buy yourself a croissant at a bakery and sit on a bench.
