Focacceria la Tarantell

I am not a big fan of italian restaurants, as I always think I can eat (almost) the same for cheaper at home. But my mom was in town, so I thought this would be a nice place to go as it looks very cosy. And yes, it is a great place to go. The staff is not all italian anymore (at least not the waitresses), but the food was good nonetheless. I do think that it is a bit pricey for the area, but then in the mist of gentrification it’s getting difficult to say what is cheap and what is not in «kreuzkölln.» But i think € 5 for a pizza is reasonable, so I am not going to complain. the menu has all the staples from pizza, and pasta ranging to risotto and the staff is friendly and attentive. the inside is decorated nicely as well, so it’s a great option for italian food in the area.

Vom kleinen Laden mit zwei Tischen hat sich der Laden mittlerweile zu einem Restaurant vergrößert und zielt als «Edelitaliener» nun eher auf Touristen ab. Entsprechend sind leider auch die Preise, die sich teilweise mehr als verdoppelt haben.
Nach wie vor ist das Essen dort aber sehr lecker, auch die Pasta wird selbst gemacht. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist relativ groß und die freundlichen Bedienungen empfehlen einem auch sehr ausführliche die aktuelle Tageskarte.
Was man mittlerweile in Berlin auch immer seltener findet, hier sind alle wasch echte Italiener.
Im Sommer kann man angenehm draußen sitzen und zur Fußball WM gibt es natürlich auch einen großen Flat-​Screen.
