Einstein Kaffee

Im Einstein Schönhauser Alle gibt es guten Kaffee. Und damit ist so ziemlich alles gesagt, was dort gut ist. Halt. Die Bedienung, gleich ob männlich oder weiblich ist freundlich und macht nen guten Job.
Das Lokal selber ist im Erdgeschoß strassenseitig der Schönhauser Allee Arkaden, beim Durchgang zur Ringbahn. Kein Platz, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Reisehektik, Spendensammler, gelegentlich Besoffene, zugig und am Vormittag im Schatten der Arkaden gelegen. Drinnen noch besser wie draussen. Durch lieblose Betonblumentröge mit gerupftem, enttopftem, dürstenden Grün umgeben läd viel zum Coffe2go und wenig zum Verweilen ein. Frühstücken geht mangels Angebot an Schrippen, Brötchen oder sonst was auch nicht. Letzteres scheint der Positionierung des Einstein geschuldet.
Mit dem Kaffeeverkauf machen die wohl ihr Geschäft, der kostet nämlich einigermaßen.
Haben oft des Morgens offen, wenn die anderen noch geschlossen haben, also für first aid-​coffe zu empfehlen.

This is a tiny coffee place next to the shopping mall. They have a couple of places across Berlin. Don’t expect much space for sitting down and study or work, but do expect some pretty solid coffee for a fair price.
The coffee is certainly better than Balzac which is opposite the street. Also, they are cheaper and offer free wifi that’s really fast.
I usually stop by here in the mornings on my way to work and grab a cappuccino to go. Always hot and tasty and handed over with a smile.
The place can’t compare to some of those really good coffee roosters Berlin has, but overall it’s pretty solid.

This place or right next to the mall. I only started going here because I needed wifi because I lost my phone ha. I usually get the espresso macchiato single which is around 2 euros and the café mocha which is about 3,20 for a medium. It’s a small spot with a few short tables, tall tables, seats along the window pane. There’s a lot of old people/​friends who come here and chit chat, it’s really cute. Balzac across the street is much bigger, but I believe you have to pay for wifi so it is not lit…
