Dudu

For the curious, the name’s probably from the Vietnamese word for «papaya.» A friend brought us here on a winter night, so the outside seating had one of those fabric awning-​tents draped around it. Never would’ve found the entrance by myself even if I’d looked for it. No more than a 3-​minute walk from the Rosenthaler Platz U-​Bahn, perfectly Mitte-​status hip. Very crowded even though we got there around 9; any earlier, you should make a reservation.
My veggie avocado sushi was fine if not exceptional, and everyone else seemed pretty pleased with theirs.

Berlin Mitte ist hip und modern. Aber muss es denn auch arrogant sein? Im Dudu an einem Freitag Abend läuft nichts ohne Reservierung, die wir zum Glück im Vorfeld organisiert hatten. Der Laden war um 18Uhr noch fast leer, trotzdem platzierte man uns an einen langen Tisch, der für 7 Leute gedeckt war. Wir sollten direkt in der Mitte sitzen. Auf meine Frage, warum wir denn nicht am Rand sitzen könnten, wo doch sowieso alles frei war, bot man uns einen anderen Tisch an. Nunja, so viel zum Komfort.
Die Karte kann sich nicht recht entscheiden, ob sie fusion, vietnamesich oder japanisch ist. Sushi, Sashimi und Papayasalat neben roasted beef und curry. Und das alles mit modernem touch, denn wo bekommt man schon sein Gericht mit Wildkräutern serviert. Der Papayasalat als Vorspeise konnte nicht überzeugen. Kaum Gewürze und praktisch nichts sagend. Die Hauptgerichte hingegen waren eine Wucht. Das roasted beef war eine große Portion mit zartem Fleisch, würziger Soße, frischem Gemüse und Nudeln. Wow, warum nicht gleich so?
Dennoch ist mir der Laden zu versnobt. Das Hauptgericht hat die Gesamtbewertung rausgerissen, aber das Dudu ist für mich kein Wohlfühlrestaurant, in das ich alsbald wiederkommen müsste.

Das «DUDU»
Ich hatte Hunger und wie so oft sollte es Sushi sein. Immer das selbe ist zwar gut aber ich habe dann etwas gesucht und bin auf das DUDU gestoßen.
Routenplaner an gemacht, dran vorbei gelaufen, nochmal zurück gegangen, geguckt, nochmaliges checken der Adresse… Dann… hinter der großzügigen Außenanlage habe ich den Eingang gefunden! :D Zum Glück!
Erster Eindruck: Wow sehr modern und zeitgemäß. Genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten und man wird hier so herzlich empfangen, das man sich gleich sehr wohl fühlt.
Kurz die Karte durchstöbert und fündig geworden. Es gab für mich einmal den Maki Mix und das «aromatische» Wildkräuter-​Curry. Geschmacklich werden hier sehr gute Produkte verwendet. Selten ein Avocado-​Maki bekommen, das nach Avocado schmeckt!
Präsentation ist sehr chic.
Zum Curry: Sehr schöné Kombination, die fast immer geht! Knackige Wildkräuter geben dem Gericht den letzten Schliff. Damit kann man nichts falsch machen!
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch aufmerksam ohne dabei zu stören.
Sehr schönes Ambiente. Im Hintergrund mit angenehmer Lautstärke gibt es schöné loungige Musik.
Ich war hier sehr zufrieden und war überrascht noch nichts vom DUDU zuvor gehört zu haben.
Preislich ist etwas über dem Standard, das ist aber gerechtfertig für das was man bekommt!

Ambiente: schmale Bänke garantieren Kontakt zum Sitznachbar. Das ständige Klingeln des Telefons deutet auf eine gute Nachfrage hin, die Dauer und der Ton nerven aber irgendwann. Zudem kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, warum wegen der maximalen Bestuhlung Plätze direkt am offenen Eingangsbereich der Toilette sein müssen.

Despite the obvious crack one can make about the name of this place, I kind of like it’s naïve simplicity — and it’s fun to say: DUdu, DUDU, duDU, dudu…
Anyways, once you arrive (!) you realise it’s achingly hip. The outdoor seating is sexy and crowded on a Friday night, but with those giant tall heaters that remind me of California nights ;)
We were in a group of 4; and us out-​of-​towners should have paid more heed to what the two locals ordered — the special Dudu rolls — because they were fantastic! Not just cold rice with vegetables as I’d been worried about!
The noodles which I got were rather anaemic in comparison with a too-​sweet tomatoey, sesame sauce. I’d come back but only for the rolls… DUDU!

Je né peux rien dire sur la nourriture c’était vraiment excellent. Ce sont clairement les meilleurs sushis que j’ai mangé de Berlin. Ils sont super doux et s’engloutissent très facilement.
Cependant je suis très déçu du lieu et du service. Nous sommes arrivé après une réservation et ils ont voulu nous mettre à côté de la porte sur une table ou deux personnes étaient déjà assis. Etre dans un couloir où l’air froid de l’hiver passé Non merci! Nous avons finalement était déplacé en terrasse juste à côté ses chauffage ou ont été littéralement entrain de cuire !!
Deuxièmement la serveuse c’est trompé dans une des commandes et n’a pas voulu assumé son erreur !! Je trouve ça vraiment impoli la façon dont elle nous a répondu. J’ai essayé d’être diplomate avec elle mais rien y fait on a du quand même payé les sushis apportés en trop. Je suis désolé mais en France quand un serveur fait une erreur le plat est ramené en cuisine et on né discute pas apparement chez eux le client n’est pas roi. Désolé mais c’est nous qui faisons votre beurre donc soyez un petit peu plus aimable avec vos clients et assumer vos erreurs.

Das sushi war lecker und mal etwas anderes. Fand es aber verhältnismäßig teuer und für mich gab es nicht genug Auswahl. Die anderen Gerichte (z. B. Rindfleisch mit Nudeln) dagegen sind vom Preis Leistungs Verhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Essen war grundsätzlich lecker und von guter Qualität. Der Laden ist allerdings nichts für sushi Fans (dann würde ich zumindest keine der spezial Rollen bestellen).

Gebratener Thunfisch mit Sesamreis, Salat und Guacamole und Salsa, lecker! Zu empfehlen auch der Gin Basil Bash, sehr trinkbar! :-) nur das enge Ambiente ist nicht so schön, aber bei gutem Essen ist das zu verkraften.

Not worth the hype. Gestern war ich das zweite mal bei Dudu. Wie auch schon beim ersten Mal stört es mich, dass man bereits nachdem man nach einem Platz fragt gesagt bekommt, dass man in spätestens 1,5 Stunden den Platz räumen muss! Das hat für mich nichts mit Willkommenskultur zu tun, am liebsten wäre ich dann gleich wieder gegangen. Man hat nicht das Gefühl dass sie sich über Gäste freuen, man wird abgefertigt und auch den ganzen Besuch über so schnell wie möglich durch das «Programm» gelotst. Die Portionen sind wirklich klein, auch die Aperitifs, 0,1 Aperol für 4,50 € gehen gar nicht. Das Essen hat eine gute Qualität und schmeckt lecker aber nichts, was man nicht woanders genauso bekommt.

The first time I went to Dudu, I had indulged in a few beers and I wasn’t sure if my memory of the food being outstanding was a result of my inebriated state. But today I returned in a sober state, and confirmed the suspicions that I originally had — Dudu is another reason I can go home claiming I love the Berlin food scene.
On my return visit, I was alone and had the summer rolls which were fresh and crunchy, and the wildekrauter curry (a creamy chicken coconut curry). Both were well seasoned and flavoursome, and the tangy fresh flavours were complemented well by a Moscow mule cocktail with a strong ginger hit. There is also a strong emphasis on sushi rolls on the menu for those that are that way inclined.
The wait staff have been friendly both times I have been there — the first on a busy weekend night (even when I knocked a picture off the wall) and the second time when I visited on a quiet Monday afternoon.

Eine Supermischung aus japanischer und vietnamesischer Küche. Der Papayasalat schmeckt sehr authentisch, genau wie die Phở.
Service ist super nett und fix.
Als Hauptspeise hatte ich den Avocado-​Tower: das ist eine Acocado mit super zartem Roastbeef an einer Soja-​Erdnuss-​Soße. Eine echt unglaublich leckere Kombination

Küchenleistung frisch & lecker ****, da gibt es nicht zu meckern.
Portionsgröße etwas zu klein, wer richtig großen Hunger hat, muß ein Gericht extra bestellen. Preis/​Leistung O. K***. wenn Ihr mit den Portionen auskommt.
Service** unaufmerksam, wenn man sich bemerkbar macht, bekommt man jedoch alles was man braucht.
Freundlichkeit** Neutral, nicht mehr und auch nicht weniger.
Alles in allem gute 3,5 Sterne, jedoch kann ich den Hype hier nicht verstehen ?!

Witzige Hippster Location, versteckt hinter einem Zaun auf der Torstrasse.
Es war echt ganz ok, leider eeeeeeeeecht superkleine Portionen und man sitzt sehr eng, sozusagen auf dem Schoß und am Rücken der Gruppe daneben, dahinter oder mit einem auf der Bank.
Drinnen war ich nur, um das WC zu suchen… nicht ganz einfach zu finden. Dafür zwar stylisch aber leider etwas abgeranzt in seinem Style. Die Bedienungen waren alle mega-​hip und total gestresst. Es ist eng, keiner kommt durch, ständig langt einer einem vors Gesicht oder drängelt sich an einem vorbei. Schade, das Konzept ist cool und kochen können die auch. Die Speisekarten und Tische waren bappig und kein Lappen aufzutreiben. Es wurde auch viel geraucht, zwar draussen, aber doch so hermetisch zugebaut, da es extrem störte. Leider leidet das Dudu wohl unter dem «MitteVirus» und ich geh da nicht mehr hin.

Das «DU DU» ein absolutes Muss für asiatische Küchenliebhaber ! Das Ambiente, die Preisleistung und der Service einfach absolut Klasse ! Sehr stylischer Laden mitten in Berlin Mitte , den man nicht auf dem ersten Blick findet :-) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, wir waren über die Aufmachung der Speisen auf dem Teller sehr beeindruckt !

Wir waren da, weil es überall hieß, dass es zur Zeit eines der besten Sushi Restaurants in Berlin ist. Und das stimmte auch! Die Location ist super gemacht, vor allem der Außenbereich hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider ist es ziemlich voll gewesen, was die Gemütlichkeit etwas genommen hat, da man dann eher eng beieinander sitzt. Das Sushi war absolut frisch und toll angerichtet. Zu allem Überfluss hat es auch noch gut geschmeckt. Zum Nachtisch gab es Eis, was auch ein Traum war. Leider nicht unbedingt günstig, aber für das Gesamtpaket (Gegend, Ambiente, Foodstyle, Qualität) absolut in Ordnung.

Business Lunch im Dudu und freudige Überraschung auf der Karte. Feine Vorspeisen (z.B. Sommerrolle), aber auch Sushi, Curry oder ein Rinderfilet am Salatbett mit Sesamreis. Dazu frische, ausgefallene Getränke (z.B. alkohlfreier Moscow Mule), flotte Kellner, ein kleiner abgetrennter Gartenbereich für schönes Wetter und wirklich gutes Essen. Auch der ein oder andere Promi checkt hier zur Sushiplatte ein.

In a word — a place with a statement.
Asian fusion restaurant with style and a saying. And one of the best curry dishes I have ever had.
Longer version (for the brave) — everyone always have a good thing to say about Dudu, but I always thought its unaffordable.
Don’t let the looks fool you, yes– it is a bit pricy for Berlin.
But you can totally handle this :)
We went in and got a place outside, as we arrived before the evening peak we had a lot of seats to choose from.
The menus are simple without too many options — but that’s pretty much all you need.
Some starters, sushi plates, a few soups and main dishes, and about 2 or three kinds of desserts.
Simple. That is the key.
There’s a big board with specials and offers which most are not on the menu, so don’t forget to check it out too!
We started with the papaya salad with tofu which was absolutely amazing.
The dressing was very light and you could still enjoy the vegetable flavor.
The main dishes didn’t arrive too long after — and my oh my — this is PERFECTION in a plate.
If you ignore the unpleasant surprise in the shape of fresh tomatoes in my salad (will I ever get over my hate for fresh tomatoes???)
This is by far one of the best curry dishes I’ve had in a while, if not the best one.
Thin slices of chicken, perfectly made rice, fresh salad on top, peanuts and creamy curry with a special flavor (our guess is that there’s fresh anise in the curry that gives it a nice twist)
I loved every single bite of it, and added a bit soy sauce for saltiness and some fresh red chili pepper just to make it a bit spicy, exactly how I like it.
It filled me up real good, even though the dish is not too big, spot on people!
Even the sushi and the seafood dishes that I don’t eat looked so good I was tempted to ask the people next to me for a bite hahaha
All in all — a starter, two juice glasses and two main dishes for 27 € is ok, and it’s really worth it. So treat yourself!
To some it all up — had a great experience, and would be happy to come again soon!

J’était dans ce restaurant pour ma pause déjeuner, en voyant le monde, j’ai pris un peu peur et je me suis vite dit que je né serais jamais de retour à l’heure au travail, mais étant donnée que je voulais tester ce petit restaurant depuis un moment, je me suis installée au bar. J’avais un peu l’impression d’être dans le chemin, ce qui n’était pas génial, mais vu l’ambiance frénétique du lieux, ca né m’a pas étonné plus que ca.
J’ai pris un des deux repas du jour, une sorte de chirashi avec de la salade en plus, et une soupe miso avant ça. Je n’ai pas attendu 2 minutes après ma commande que ma soupe était déjà la, et j’ai eu a peine le temps de poser ma cuillère après ma soupe que le plat était la lui aussi.
La soupe était très bonne, clairement faite maison je pense. Le chirashi était vraiment très bon lui aussi, les poissons étaient bien frais, le seul bémole, le guacamole. En soit je n’ai aucun problème avec le fait de mettre du guacamole dessus, ca change et ca allait plutôt bien avec, le problème c’est qu’il y en avait vraiment beaucoup et même si j’ai trouvé ca très sympa au début c’est vite devenu écoeurant. A peine quelques minutes après avoir fini mon plat, la serveuse est venue encaissée, pas d’une façon comme si elle voulait me pousser dehors mais d’une manière très sympa j’ai donc même plutôt apprécié l’efficacité du service.
En tout, j’ai passé quelque chose comme 15 minutes dans le restaurant !! Je recommande donc vraiment le lieu pour un bon déjeuner rapide.

Liebes Dudu, du bist eine wahre Gaumenfreude. Deine Roastbeef-​Noodles verzücken mich jedes Mal von neuem. Nur leider stehe ich mit meiner Meinung nicht alleine dar, so dass du immer gut besuchst bist und bei mir einfach keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre entstehen mag. Aber glücklicherweise schmeckt dein Essen auch ganz wunderbar in meinen vier Wänden.

Pfiou ! Il faut être en forme pour aller se serrer sur les bancs de Dudu. Si vous cherchez un endroit tranquille pour vous reposer après une journée de marche dans Berlin, passez votre chemin. Ici il y a de l’ambiance, du monde et des gens apprêtés. C’est un peu THE PLACE TO BE pour manger asiatique.
On est arrivé sans avoir réservé, il restait ²⁄₃ places sur la terrasse. Mais ce n’était pas les meilleures places, juste sous les grands radiateurs. On a littéralement cuit comme des écrevisses ! Auquel s’ajoute des petits coups de fesses répétés, dès qu’une personne derrière nous tentait de s’extirper de son banc.
La nourriture était bonne même si un peu cher par rapport à ce qu’on a pu trouver ailleurs. En entrée, on a goûté les summer rolls au tofu qui étaient très bons. En plat, j’ai pris le seafood bowl avec différentes sortes de poissons crus, bien frais, un peu de guacamole maison, du riz. Je me suis régalée. Pour le même prix (12.90 €), mon copain a pris les sashimis mais il n’y avait que 12 petits morceaux de poissons avec 3 feuilles de salade. Mauvaise pioche donc, il faut connaitre la carte car tous les plats né sont pas servis de façon équitable en quantité.
Le service court partout, se trompe dans les commandes, ce qui est compréhensible au vu du monde qu’il y a en salle et sur la grande terrasse.
Bref, c’était une expérience ! Mais pas à mon goût personnel. J’aime quand l’ambiance est un peu plus détendue et qu’on a le temps d’apprécier réellement ce qu’on mange.
Sans doute qu’entre amis, avant de sortir danser, c’est un lieu idéal !

Netter Imbiss zum Einstimmen. Speisekarte etwas unentschlossen: Sushi, Thai, Curry, na was denn nun? Preise mit Tourizuschlag.
Suppen lecker, alles chic serviert, Sushi wirkte wie schon Mittags vorbereitet, Wasabi trocken und bröckelig. Bedienung sehr nett und sympathisch, etwas überpersonalisiert. Platzanweiserin, die nur ihren Hut spazieren trägt und etwas desorientiert herumstöckelt.
Fazit: Mittelmaß, nette Bedienung, aber mehr Show als Klasse.

Philosophie des DuDus: Verkörperung der toten Seele!
War seit Jahren mal wieder im DUDU & ich muss sagen, ich bin enttäuscht was daraus geworden ist… ein Hipsterkonzert, gemischt mit Promiabteilung XYZ.
Sehen und gesehen werden steht derzeit wohl im Vordergrund. Denn mit gemütlich sitzen war auch nichts mehr, haben uns gefühlt wie die Hühner auf der Stange.
Essen ist noch immer gut, aber es fühlte sich an als ob man schlingen musste, damit der Platz wieder neu besetzt werden kann. Die Besitzerin stand mit ihrem Umsatzgeilen-​Blick da & zog ein nicht einladenes Gesicht. Es sah aus als würde sie unser essen verhexen wenn wir uns nicht beeilen.
Schade schade… aber vielleicht ist es ja das was sie erreichen wollten… wenn das so ist, gute Nacht!

Das DUDU bietet sehr leckeres Essen.
Ausser bei Sushi ist die Karte nicht besonders umfangreich, aber das muss sie auch nicht sein. Man findet was und das ist dann äußerst lecker.
Ich hatte neulich die Fish Bowl — Hammer!!! So lecker und die Portionen sind richtig groß.
Der Tee ist auch ein Genuss, beste Teeblätter in schönen großen Teeschalen.
Die Atmosphäre ist kuschelig. Wenn es voll ist (und das ist es zu den Hauptzeiten mittags und abends eigentlich fast immer) kann man hier auch mal neue Kontakte knüpfen, denn es gibt nur lange Tische, an denen man dann zusammen sitzt. Ich mag das!!!
Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Amazing food. Some of the best sushi I’ve had! I recommend the Tunacado special rolls, so yum! The selection is nicely creative but not over the top crazy. I also really enjoyed their drinks.
I understand opinions differ, and I do get the idea of the concept. But I still think that if I leave after dinner with a severely strained voice, something is a bit wrong. We were basically yelling at each other across the table, and they squeeze so many people in there that it gets uncomfortable. But all in all a very nice experience, would come again.

Best sushi I have had in Germany to date. The menu offers a variety of traditional and Asian inspired dishes; from Phở to Sashimi. I shared the «Sushi for 2» with a friend and had more than enough for the two of us. The fish not only looked very fresh, but also tasted fresh. There were a combination of rolls, sashimi and sushi. All very good.
The ambiance of the restaurant was a bit loud, but still very comfortable. Make sure to make a reservation, as tables fill up quickly. Also as a side note, a good place for those searching for Gluten-​Free dishes. A healthy choice in the middle of Berlin’s restaurant mayham.

Dudu was recommended by a friend who lives in berlin. The ambience was great with dim light and hip music playing in the background. I ordered veggie phở as an appetizer and tofu curry as a main. Phở was good although a small portion even as an appetizer. Tofu curry looked good however it had a distinct sour taste that does not complement the smooth curry sauce. In addition, the staff especially the lady with tattoo hosting the table was not friendly at all! She definitely should improve her attitude. All in all, I was disappointed by the experience here.

I LOVE DUDU. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks. It’s the perfect place to cure a serious hangover but also the place to start an epic night out. The food is really good although the menu is not very large — however, I like that! — for me it shows that they’re using fresh ingredients all of the time. The food always arrives very fast, which is really nice too.
The seafood bowl, crispy tiger roll and the papaya salad are among my favorites!

Tipp Tempura Salat

Der Lunch ist der absolute bringer, war jetzt in 4 Tagen 2 mal da.
Hatte letzten Freitag Menü 2, heisst Miso Suppe und Osaka Bowl.
Miso Suppe, ganz normal und gut, Osaka Bowl einfach nur Fantastisch, dieser frische rohe Fisch verschieden mariniert, grüner Blattsalat (sehr gutes Dressing), lauwarmer Sesamreis, in sich stimmig und perfekt für Lunch da man danach nicht übersättigt in den Nachmittag startet.
Beim zweiten Besuch hatte ich ein Glasnudelsalat mit Zitronenhühnchen, Lecker.
Danach gabs crispy Tiger, Sushirollen im California Inside –Out Sektor, perfekt zubereitet.
Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend!
Komme definitiv wieder, denn für 7,90 2 Gänge auf diesem Niveau und dieser frische, einfach Genial.
Sehr zu empfehlen auch die alkohlfreien Eistee´s und Calpicos =)

Nice place, great food, a really great place! There is a nice patio, modern and trendy décor, the people there are relaxed and quite fashionable. Service could be better though…

Based on food quality alone, I would give 3 stars, +1 star for ambience and setting. My group of 8 was seated in the front outdoor patio section where the tables and benches were quite small and cramped (definitely to small for average-​sized adults, especially in Germany) but that made the environment forcibly intimate.
The décor was modern and trendy, as was the fashionable Mitte crowd. Service was good to lacking. We had to ask for still water several times, although one waitress was particularly friendly.
I ordered seafood bowl (13 euros) which was tasty, but later on other patrons in my group agreed that they were very thirsty (high salt-​content?), attributing it to a somewhat «cheap» quality of the food, despite it’s fancy presentation.
Great for groups, dates, or friends, reserve the outdoor patio on a summer evening.

This place have quite a nice setup and buzzy atmosphere. The food is not too bad either. BUT, the place have the most rudest staff! I have gone several times in hope it’s been an improvement, but it’s always just as bad. You feel almost in the way or even a burden for them, shuffled around, shooed away and then ASKED for the tip — twice. Same stories heard around from many people. Very very disappointing!

Great little Asian fusion place in Mitte. I ordered all sushi including a roll with
«Dudu» in the name. It was fantastic. Great vibe. Wasn’t too crowded when we arrived but got super crowded fast. Sat out on the communal tables on the patio and enjoyed my 1^st meal in Berlin.
Coming from California, though, where we have great sushi places it’s hard to say this is better than those. But it was definitely a nice change of pace after having a lot of bread and fries in Geneva.
Highly recommended.

Great great place plagued by pretty mediocre service.
I came here tonight for dinner after having read about the place in some HuffingtonPost article about Berlin. I definitely wasn’t disappointed in the menu – ordered the mango calpico (for those of you who are familiar with calpico in its original form, this was the fanciest one I’ve ever been served) and the seafood bowl. There was definitely a lot of really cool stuff going on in the menu that I was really excited about.
The seafood bowl came out very quickly despite the restaurant being extremely packed when I got there at 8pm. Instead of giving you wasabi which is what you would expect, they put in what I believe they call salsa roja and guac, which initially sounds like a less than desirable combination, but once you really start thinking about it, it’s actually quite brilliant given how avocados are always in sushi rolls. Good helping of sashimi, shrimp, and a nice salad and rice to complement
So the terrible service. I don’t think anyone here was exceptionally intentionally giving bad service, but I think the place is perhaps too popular so they can’t manage it. I’m honestly normally not a picky person about service so for me to notice it is a bit bizarre. But I will say that it’s frustrating when waiters are just taking your soy sauce or your utensil jar away from you in the middle of the meal. Waitresses were also very gruff to me when I wanted to order and just very rude in general… while the food was good, I just didn’t feel comfortable sitting there alone, and maybe that’s just because they looked like they were dealing with a few really large parties inside.
I guess I would come back for the food because I do think it’s close to 5-​star quality food, I’m just really disappointed with the service. Prices are also pretty good, my dinner came out to be 16.40 euros
tldr; great food, mediocre service, but worth a go if you’re looking for a unique twist on asian fusion

Sushi for 2 ownes 5 stars without any doubt! Sometimes it stresses me out to come here because its noisy and always crowded, but by far the most modern sushi in the city!

The first time you go dudus is amazing. Sadly what makes the first dish awesome, makes the 5^th boring. All their dishes have the same flavor pallet. Customer service is not super friendly either.

Leider hat es sich aufgrund der Qualität so gut herumgesprochen dass ab 18 Uhr kaum noch ein Tisch zu bekommen ist und man sich auf längere Wartezeiten einstellen muss.
Es herrscht geschäftige Atmosphäre und man kann seiner Seafood Bowle beim Zubereiten zusehen was den ganzen das Besondere Etwas verleiht.
Das Sushi ist wirklich außerordentlich gut und es gibt viele verschiedene außergewöhnliche Variationen die es so woanders nicht gibt.
Allerdings sind die Preise ziemlich heftig– man sollte also wissen worauf man sich einlässt ;) Aber es lohnt sich wirklich! Auch die selbstgemachte Limonade ist der Hit! :-)

Since we arrived early in the evening, we had no problem finding us a table on the outside patio. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Great sushi. Even better noodle soups. Would love to swing by again the next time I am close to Torstraße.

Wow. What a great place. Went with my sister, and we had a beautiful meal.
The design of the place is very simple, white walls, no pictures or anything on the walls which gives it a little cold and distanced look.
But when it comes to the food it all changes. We had the sharing meal for two with the special mama’s roll which was great. A really high class meal of sushi. We had also the Nom Dudu, a papaya salad with a very special touch, that you can order with chicken, tofu or veggie. Try out this salad!
Altogether it was a great experience with awesome food.

When we found this Asian restaurant in Berlin, we had been walking around for hours. Obviously, we were very hungry when we got here. I didn’t bother too much with going over the meny (which was mainly fish, sushi and steak) — and went straight for the steak.
I had the opportunity to visit the ladies room before my steak arrived and it was a fantastic experience. In fact, the entire restaurant gave off the same vibe — great food, clean place and fresh ingredients. When I walked passed the sushi preparation station, I instantly regretted not getting sushi.
Dudu has a hip and open atmosphere. The restaurant is pretty well hidden behind leafy bushes but when you pass them and glacé in, you are greeted by a huge out-​door place with plenty of room to rest your legs. Both outside and inside Staff is fairly young, both men and women — and so are the guests. Enjoy this place, it impressed me.

On a testé une seule fois; les nouilles au bœuf sont vraiment très bonnes. Un resto un peu design, branché qui n’est pas excessif.

Excellent restaurant avec un très bon rapport qualité/​prix. Nous y sommes allés 2 fois en 5 jours. A essayer absolument: les rolls (ils sont écrits sur l’adroise à droite du bar). Conseiller de réserver. Seule chose qui pourrait déplaire à certains: l’insonorisation n’est pas très bonne donc ça peut être un peu bruyant

Déception que ce restaurant dont on nous avait dit du bien. Bön point positif: 7 euros le menu du midi, c’est imbattable. Pour ce prix, une soupe coco citronnelle à tomber, parfaitement assaisonnée et relevée, et une salade de boeuf à la citronnelle qui manquait d’assaisonnement et d’herbes. Une serveuse désagréable, une chouette terrasse lounge.
