The Upper Crust Pizzeria

I love upper crust in bebek. It reminds me of a real Restaurant. You know with real service and good
Food and an actual waiter. It’s to bad that I’m not talking about the upper crust in bebek. Their besiktas franchise is terrible. Awful service that took them 15 minutes to take our order. Here is a hint, take your tables away and stick to delivery only. Don’t waste my time again, please. The pizza is still decent and always will be for this estranged Boston franchise. Sorry besiktas upper crust, you did the opposite of winning me over!

Good pizza, but go in person. DO NOT GET IT DELIVERED. Arrived almost 2 hours late.
Said they’d deliver in 45 min. Called them to check after 1 hour. Pizza arrived 50 min after I called to check and when I asked the delivery guy when ht left he said he left 10 minutes ago.
He left the place with my pizza 1 hr and 40 min after the initial order call.
Not good when you have to reheat the pizza when you get it.

Her né kadar, gün içinde Little Ceaser, Pizza Hut gibi zincirlerden pizza yesek de, ara ara güzel pizza arayışına giriyoruz. İşte tam böyle bir anda gidilesi bir yer olan The Upper Crust Pizzeria, İstanbul’da en güzel pizzayı yapan yerlerden bir tanesi.
Beşiktaş’tan Çırağan’a giderken miniminnacık bir dükkanda bulunan The Upper Crust Pizzeria içinde 4 tane masa var. 3 kişi gidip rahatça yer bulduk fakat kalabalık gitmeye uygun değil. Açgözlülük yapmayıp 2 tane large pizza söyledik ve güzelce doyduk. Bence 3 kişi için 2 L pizza ideal, kendinize güvenip XL söylemeyin, yiyemezsiniz. Gerçi yiyemediğiniz pizzaları paket yaptırabiliyorsunuz ama sıcak sıcak çok daha lezzetliler.
Gelelim pizzlara… Pizzalar incecik hamur ve harika bir pizza sosu ile hazırlanıyor. Pizzada kullanılan malzemeler de kaliteli ve taze. Dolayısıyla sonuç da harika pizzalar oluyor. Benim hoşuma gitmeyen tek şey, pizzaların pişerken köşelerinin fazla pişip, kömür olması. O kadar ince hamuru pişirirken karşılaşılabilecek bir sorun olduğu için puan kırmıyorum :)
Son olarak küçük bir not: özellikle bacon bulunan pizzalar domuz ürünleri içeriyor, yemeyenler menüdeki minik domuzcuk sembollerine dikkat etsin.

Was staying at a top notch hotel, but had the urge for some junk food, saw this place close by and it was advertising 4 years of winning some award, should have paid closer attention, when the awards ran out in 2008, so I am guessing it was a lot better back then. ordered a pepperoni thin crust, ok its a muslim country so I wasn’t expecting the pepperoni to be up to much but the pizza in general was bland and slightly soggy, I think it comes under the catogory of avoid, there is far better food available local, eat local food.
