Shishly Cafe & Bistro

The food was tasty and the café very good value for money. We paid 159 TRY sans tip for a shared appetiser, two mains, a beer and a glass of wine, a shared dessert and two coffees with liquor. My wife had the penne alcarne and I had the spaghetti bolognese. Both were excellent. But I wouldn’t recommend you go out of your way to visit, if you’re only in town for a few days. The café is in a very ordinary looking part of Şişli. So unless you’re in the area — and we were to visit the brilliant Babylon Bomonti, which is about a ten-​minute walk away — this café is somewhere you are most likely to add to your list for quality Italian cooking only if you either want to try something outside of the touristy areas, or you are a regular visitor to the city looking for something different. The place was pretty quiet the night we visited. But that didn’t stop the staff from being welcoming and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. For me it was just under a 3.5, hence the 3.

Serious lack of Unilocal reviewers in this area of Istanbul, so I am writing a few to help travelers.
Ate late lunch here, just ordered burger, it came with salad and fries. Food was fresh, burger tasted off a bit (possibly not entirely beef) but was ok. Salad was fresh and had balsamic on it. Ketchup tasted different from American ketchup.

Dieses Bistro ist relativ neu und ein wahrer Glückstreffer!
Habe lange nach einer Abwechslung zu Kebab und Co gesucht und per Zufall hier gefunden.
Ohne viel erzählen zu wollen… Die Salate sind 1a, die Pizzen sehr lecker und auch sonst sah alles hervorragend aus, was an die anderen Tische ging.
Abgerundet wird das ganze von aufmerksamer, netter Bedienung und gemütlichen Räumlichkeiten.
