What a cute little shop in an artistic Istanbul neighborhood. Everything in the area has an air of cosy and trend to it and this place was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. From people taking selfies to people taking selfies, Muhit sits in just there right place to enjoy the environment. They even had a little coal fire burning in the center of the restaurant to keep us warm and toasty while we ate their lovely toasties. The staff was friendly and spoke great english. Food and coffee were grand. #love #blessed

I think all the places in this area this is the café I like most. Nice people and good enough menu. We ordered three dishes and they were all good. Taste is not so great but it’s clear they are working hard to make them special. They have mangal(grill) style charcoal stoves which is a nice touch. Place is just a little too tight for my liking. And restrooms are not that comfortable.

So good. I had the Toast with Turkish sausage and cheese. Very delicious and the server was kind and worked as best he could with the language barrier.

If you’re ever in Istanbul, come here! It’s charming,(slightly) hipster, and a fantastic alternative to the overpriced places you’d find around Hagia Sophia or Taksim Square. The area around this place is chock-full of cafes, and the crowd here was very yuppie Istanbul-young and modern. I came here for brunch. My friend and I had menemen, an omelette, and these delicious tomato-basil sandwiches that were neatly cut into triangles. We had fresh orange juice as well(why am I so blessed that every restaurant/café in Istanbul serves fresh OJ?). Everything was reasonably priced, waitstaff is friendly, and the décor on the walls is trendy and done by young Turkish artists. There are also the ubiquitous cats that are ALLOVER Istanbul, wandering about the tables in the outside seating and looking cute.
