Beautiful café. Calm and welcoming with a fire to warm us. We had delicious soup, one with lentils and chickpea and the other yogurt and meatballs. The soup was clearly made with care and high quality ingredients. Nazan is well travelled and well spoken. We very much enjoyed her company. Do say hello to Sultan, the resident cat.

Un café restaurant au calme tenu par une artiste passionnée de cuisine et passionnante!
La cuisine est simple et délicieuse, Nazan a beaucoup voyagé donc né vous attendez pas à y trouver tous les plats turcs traditionnels. Ainsi, nous nous sommes partagés (à 2) des petits légumes farcis au poulet, des aubergines aux amandes, un poulet épicé aux courgettes, et une part de carrot cake. C’était délicieux et suffisant pour nos appétits !
Le choix des vins est également excellent, elle les choisit elle même et saura vous conseiller.
Pour les amateurs de thé, elle dispose d’un choix très large de thés verts et blancs.
Au niveau de l’ambiance, On se sent plus invité dans sa maison/​ateliers/​galerie que dans un restaurant. Nazan se fera un plaisir de vous expliquer ses choix! La maison est belle et au calme, chaque pièce a été soigneusement sélectionnée et restaurée par l’artiste. Bref, cet endroit plaira aux voyageurs à l’âme d’artiste en quête d’une expérience plus authentique.
Allez-​y! Et pour les groupes, n’hésitez pas à réserver, tout est fait à la minute donc ce sera certainement plus confortable pour elle et vous.

After spending a couple days here, I was overwhelmed with the constant hustle and bustle of the old city. This was certainly a much needed breath of fresh air. I came in the early afternoon and Nazan made me a fantastic eggs on toast with mushrooms, onions, and other spices which was FANTASTIC! So nice!
After speaking with her, it turns out she gets her produce and meats from the local markets, she cares deeply for the food she makes.
Long story short, looking for a great meal in a quiet area of the old city, this is the place.
