Greenwich Village, Manhattan, NY
Walked in to this place and was ignored by all of the staff. Yes, there were plenty of servers but they all would rather chat and hang by the bar instead of greet and serve customers. Tried for over 10 minutes to get their attention, but they could care less. The food reviews are just barely average, and now you will see that the service is also dreadful. There are dozens of nice restaurants on the side streets of Istaklal street. Almost any choice is better than this place.

This isn’t the best food in Istanbul or anything — but that’s not why we came. This location has a breezy rooftop with an incredible view (see pictures!). They kept the drinks coming, the menu has lots of options, and the octopus salad was frankly delicious. My friend had come here four days in a row, and I understand why — it’s the atmosphere! Fun, friendly service, too. They gave us the best table in the house without a reservation!

Share a similar concept with Kırıntı, Midpoint is almost packed all the time. People from different ages line up at the entrance to get a table here. The seatings are very comfortable and the waiters are attentive and friendly. The foods are beyond delicious. It’s another must-​try eatery.

Completely average menu. The only time I come here is when I have guests in town and we are planning to hear music in Taksim. The location is good and it has a nice terrace with a great view.

Die Bilder hier werden dem netten Restaurant nicht gerecht! Aufmerksamer Service mit internationaler Speisekarte, wirklich leckeres Essen und gute Cocktails zu im Vergleich zu deutschen Grossstadtverhältnissen angemessenen Preisen. Die Speisen sind deutlich günstiger als die Getränke das war auffällig. Vier Sterne wegen des durchschnittlichen Ambientes.
