There are a lot of things wrong with this bar but I can see a couple of positives despite the negative, and I’m willing to give it a second chance someday. The positive: There are a few good drinking deals on the menu that I would take advantage of if I wasn’t already drunk. One was three 50ml beers for 25TL, not a bad deal considering the neighborhood. The setup of the place is crazy cool. They have a huge«garden»(patio area) with a retractable roof, it was a lot of space but still very cozy. They also have a terrace that’s kind of set up like a theater balcony overlooking the garden, with creatively arranged seating. I would have preferred to sit up there but the group wanted to go downstairs. The inside areas are sort of like a maze, but a cool one. It seemed like fun. The negative: Smoking inside, but so intensely smokey. I could barely breath walking from the entrance to the patio. It was insane. Not only is that illegal nowadays, but it’s also excruciatingly disgusting. Wtfff. And people were eating in there! The waitstaff was extremely unprofessional. The girl who served us was basically having a panic attack trying to take our order. A few of us tried to give the order in Turkish, but she fled for a(barely) English-speaking colleague. Then he repeated the same things she had said slowly and loudly as if we were unable to understand. The service was lacking in general. A friend wanted menemen, and when they didn’t have it, he asked what they did have, and they refused to answer or understand the question. Then they offered him soup, which he accepted. But they never brought the soup. It was, all in all, a weird experience.
