not a great value, to be honest but there’s really no complaint about the food itself. in fact, i loved the appetizers and the menu, which did in fact remind me of the cipriani in new york. when we went it was absolutely empty. i mean no one went there and in fact a couple others said not to go. however, who can resist a truffle extravaganza, personal service by waiters who have nothing else to do but make you happy, and timely service. i can’t expect anything else a mushroom truffle pizza — nicely crispy bread without being charred pumpkin soup, truffles and truffle oil on top a burrata caprese(fall apart cheese) salamandered mozzarella over a vegetable ragu(reminded me of something in my childhood — wouldn’t explain here on Unilocal) a vegetarian risotto, specially prepared with a lightly gooey stringy cheese and brocolli florets(blended down to pulpy goodness) branzino, simply prepared, which was unpretentious and did remind me of italy tiramisu, which, however cliché for finishing a meal at an italian restaurant, was on the top of my tiramisu list
