Manti is a traditional Turkish Food made out of dough and filled with minced meat. It basically looks like a type of Ravioli /Tortellini. It is typically eaten together with Yoghurt Topping and a tomato/chilli purée sauce on top. You can have your manti with garlic or without, according to preference. Since a few years though, the traditional manti that is cooked in boiling water has made a new family member; Feriye Manti. The name has now been changed, due to copyright reasons(Casita was the inventor of Feraye Manti!). The difference is that this is a crispy manti that gets fried or sometimes even baked. The result is a very yummy twist to something usually very traditional. Now let me tell you also, if you haven’t already noticed, Turkish people LOVE to top their food with Yoghurt. Almost every kind of food. I don’t really know the exact reason for this, but it just tastes GOOD, because our Yoghurt also tastes quite different. The yoghurt also has a soothing effect on the stomach and places such as Bodrum Manti are especially favored to be visited PAST midnight a.k.a when you’re drunk from the club. The food feels very good after a long night out with lots of alcohol and definitely puts you to sleep easier. However, I’m not saying you can only eat this food past midnight. Absolutely not! But if you want to have the ‘Turkish experience’ then this is how it’s done! The location is also very easily reached after coming out of clubs /bars that are mainly located in Kurucesme area.

Unbedingt probieren. Preise sind Super ok. Die Nachspeise geht meistens aufs Haus
