A cosy, low lit restaurant with a bar with all the essentials you will ever need, with the rare option of tequila tasting! I only had a christmas«snaps» a tequila(shot) with christmas seasoning which was not bad at all! We were a pretty large group so we chose th option were get to try 5 diffrent sides. Which was amazing with dishes from salmon to barbacoa! Quick and witty personal, will definitely revisit!

This place was pretty much all the rave when it first opened. It was Mexican Fusion and it was new and awesome. I have tried Yuc! twice and have honestly never been impressed. I don’t know if it has been my frequent visits to the states or my affection to Mexican food but Yuc honestly fails to impress. The sweet potato fries are great — as they are topped with cilantro and chimichurri making them quite unique in flavor — my girlfriend keeps nagging me to take here just to be able to munch on those. The tacos themselves are honestly a bit disappointing. They taste fine and nothing is wrong with it but it’s definitely not the epitome of Mexican food. They make pretty awesome drinks here though, so my recommendation is to get over here, have some drinks, eat some sweet potato fries, chug down a fish taco or two as a snack and get on with your night. Ambience is good. Music can be a bit annoying sometimes as they play reggaeton in the«dining hall». Yeah, I get that you’re trying to be authentic but it can be a bit overbearing at times.

Well I can’t say that this place is out of the ordinary. I mean, it’s fusion-food and it’s nice, nothing more. Gets crowdy pretty fast around 5pm so i guess it’s good for afterwork. It’s pricey for my taste but the drinks are good. And the staff are attentive when they have time, which they don’t coz it’s crowded most of the time when i was there. Seems like a go-to place for hipsters/trendy ppl/families with deep pockets. The classic friday-dinner for any regular swede is tacos. So this place satisfy their need for tacos and being hip, two birds with one stone. Come here if you wanna sigthsee the latest trendy boys and girls in Stockholm.

If you came here for authentic Mexican food chances are you’re going to be disappointed. But, if you want to try an European/Mexican fusion, this is a really nice place. No 1 dollar tacos here, prices are somewhere in between moderate and fine dining, like most Scandinavian hipster places. Friday’s are the best, after work 5 – 6 pm with a bottle of Cava for roughly 12 $. Check it out!

Ok decent«white ppl» Mexican food. You have to eat the food with a fork and knife, presentation is nice drinks are nice too. I had a seafood taco and there was maybe too much mayo on it, and sprout toppings that were hella in the way of the food, and we ordered a bunch of side orders of sweet potato French fries. Very yummy French fries, maybe the best French fries in Stockholm!!! Other then that it was fine. Locale was grey and boring looking and whatever. If you are looking for good Mexican go to LANETA instead.

Yuc! serves mexican fusion food, and the restaurant has two levels — the bar and the dining room. The bar section is more festive, whereas the dining room is more calm. I would not recommend the bar section if you want a more peaceful or more conversational dinner — then the latter is more suitable for you. How is the food then? Varying… I have visit Yuc! a few times now and I’m not fully convinced yet. Some dishes are amazing(taquito crudo — boom) whereas other are more dissapointing. Unfortunatley, the menu is not that exciting and«Mexican». Furthermore, all your orders often arrives at once. This is good if you want to take nice pictures of your dinner, but not so good if you want to eat your food while it’s still fresh and hot.

I was not impressed with this place. The margarita was good. To start with we ordered chips and guacamole. As mentioned earlier you get a tiny cup of guacamole, which doesn’t warrant the price. The pulled pork tacos were dry, the shredded chicken taco was bland and the ceviche was tiny. The best part of the whole meal was dessert. We got the sorbets and dulce de leche ice cream. Probably won’t be coming back.

Very fresh and clean interiors. It was very roomy with a lot of places to sit. Super nice personnel and I really liked their food. The sweet potato chips were yummy and their drinks had a special taste to them with a mix of sour and bitter. However it was pretty expensive and the portions were small. You’re going for quality rather than quantity here so have that in mind before entering.

Yuc = not gross! Don’t let the name deceive you. I think that Yuc has officially taken the torch as one of the best tasting new Tex-Mex fusion places in the city! Thats the good news. The bad news is that I would have a little trouble referring another visiting American friend here because of the small portions, exorbitant prices and the small cups of subpar guac(I also couldn’t find the hot salsa anywhere! You need to have a proper red and green salsa at the table people!) Though, If my American friend had been in Stockholm a while they would realize that this place is really pretty good in comparison to what else this city has! I do think all the tacos are so tasty here! I did really like the flavor of the fish tacos especially! The sprouts on top added a nice freshness to an otherwise deep-fried experience. The sweet potato fries were my other favorite part of the meal(as per the usual), but they weren’t really better or worse than the ones at any of the other burger restaurants in Stockholm. The guacamole and chips are usually one of the best parts of a good Tex-Mex meal, but I still have yet to find a winner in Stockholm! I really miss the experience of restaurants back home where they fry the thin crispy chips fresh to order and waitstaff makes the guac right in front of you at the table! The best salsas and guac i’ve liked so far in Stockholm are at La Neta. Here at Yuc(and like most places in Stockholm) the chips were a bit boring and the guac could’ve come out of a jar for all I know. =P Oh well… I didn’t really come to Sweden for the guacamole, so I let it slide. ;) This place really is more like a tiny little tapas style experience, so I don’t recommend you come in here super starving – your bill will be huge! I do recommend having a few margaritas with friends and ordering at the very least two plates of tacos and one side item per person. However, even staying true to that advice I still left here a little more swedish«full»(drunk – well, in my case just a little buzzed) than american style full. I have to give a shout out of thanks to all the other Unilocalers in the Coriander Club for the good conversation and entertainment. I always enjoy a meal more with good company! In summary: come to Yuc for the tacos, go to Geronimos FGT for a pitcher of margaritas(much more fun that it comes in a pitcher there!) and go to La Neta for the salsa and guac. If only we could combine all three resteraunts… hmmmm?!

Tasty and fresh food served by confused waiters in a quite dull interior. Would go again if a friend insists.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Personnel is lovely, the interior fresh and clean. But the ceviche is two bites and the most pricey item on the menu. The tacos are two of each, so share several with someone(s). We tried all of them and were either without any flavour or loads of flavours at once, no happy medium. The drinks are nice but with little Mexican/Peruvian flare. I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are better Mexican and Peruvian places in town.

I just want to warn readers that this a very enthusiastic review, for which I stand for. Feel like going to Mexico? You don’t have to. Just go to Yuc! and enjoy a tropical vacation in the middle of Stockholm. When looking in through the windows, my first reaction was that it wasn’t a big place… Kind of like a hole in the wall. But when I walked inside, I was completely surprised! Latin music fills my ears and the view of the place just gives me joy. The restaurant has two levels, the bar and the dining room. Both are big with a lot of space. The menu is small enough to cover one page. The courses remind me of tapas but are definitely more satisfying! We had 5 platters(that we shared) and were so full afterwards that foodcoma crept up on us like the grinch on christmas. After dinner we went to the bar to try out the drink menu. All of the drink recipés are Yuc!-originals, inspired by the latin culture with different spirits from Mexico or South America. We honestly tried most of the drinks, just because they were so good that we couldn’t stop ourselves! I also have some opinions about the service… Never have I felt so welcomed by anyone! The bartenders were happy to answer any questions about the drinks or their research that led to their recipés! I had so many questions that they should have been bored of me, but they kept on answering with big smiles and lots of comedy. The waiters and waitresses were all so happy to answer any questions about the food and were not afraid to recommend any courses(which is a big plus in my book, since I’m very lost when it comes to the dining department). I will become a regular at this place in no time!
