It wasnt original japanese ramen style but it was okay. But good service, great location and loved the interior.

I like ramen. It’s good quick street food. But paying 180SEK for a simple bowl doesn’t feel right. Especially when it’s really nothing special, I was even questioning if the ramen might have been slightly over cooked. It’s overpriced by about 70SEK.

NOTHING like the other Wagamama’s I have been to! The only thing this place shares is the name, because the staff have NO regard for any customers and food takes abnormally long to arrive, often arriving cold.

This is one of the larger Wagamama places I visited. We were served quickly so that was good. I ordered Edamama and Yaki Soba. The Yaki Soba tasted ok, but it looked like the noodles were broken in small pieces. I have not seen that before. According to the description it contains chicken and shrimps. I don’t know what happened with the chicken but I could only spot one piece in the whole dish. For the rest — the place is nice and had a good atmosphere.

Third time this year visting this place and I’m afraid the quality of the food seems to be dropping… The flavors are not as spot on as they used to be and the menu for us needing GF and/or fodmap is a bit tricky but workable. Good praise to the staff that are very knowledgeable about GF. The place is nicely located close to the central train and bus station so it if you are looking for a restaurant with better standard than the fast food places this is a good place to go. But with the standard of the food in this latest visit I’m sad to say that I would consider many other places before going back here again

Pork ramen was delicious, miso-like broth with spinach, kelp, green onion, bamboo shoots and pork belly. A little expensive for ramen, but it was very good. Fresh noodles, perhaps made there. Nice to have table condiments of soy sauce, chili oil and chili powder mixed with seaweed and sesame seeds. I was impressed, so I went back and tried the Chicken Teriyaki Soba. Mild Teriyaki flavor with sliced tender chicken breast on a slightly stir-fried bed of thin Soba noodles. It was more delicate in flavor than I would have liked, but satisfying.

We used to go to Wagamama when we lived in London and I have fond memories of the food and ambience. The food in the Stockholm location holds the same level of quality, but the restaurant lacks proper ventilation and if you don’t get a seat near the window, you come out smelling like stir-fry the rest of the day. In Stockholm most restaurants have lunch specials which are usually more affordable. Wagamama has a fixed price menu making it a rather expensive lunch option but an affordable dinner option.

Avoid! Yikes, not like other Wagamama locations that I’ve been to. Really rough food here. Liked the ambiance — maybe worth it for a drink or dessert? Food was just too bland yet too salty(two separate entrees), and given the huge number of choices within two blocks(literally within the train station) — strong avoid.

There really is no way to put this nicely, but this place was just awful. I tried the spicy ramen vegan, and the broth was so strong and had a strange flavor. I was hungry and super jet lagged, so I just kept eating it. The waitress asked me what I thought, and I told her I felt the broth was strong. She talked with the kitchen and said the chef agreed and that something went wrong when they made the soup. Accordingly, they offered to make me an alternate to go, so I agreed. When I returned to my hotel I tried the new meal, which was just as awful. This time I just threw it all away. What a waste, and this place was not cheap, I believe it cost $ 18USD. I left wishing I had eaten French fries from Burger King instead … That’s bad!

I went here twice while visiting Stockholm since it’s right next to the train station. The first experience was decent, as the server took the time to explain which items were vegan. But the food was average at best, and shockingly expensive for what you get. The second experience absolutely terrible: the server forgot about me, and people who came in after me ordered and got their food before he even came and took my order. I was then charged for something I didn’t order, and also ordered something I never got, and it again took forever for him to come back and resolve that. For what it’s worth, I had a better experience at the Wagamama in Boston, and as far as Stockholm goes, it’s not a great city for vegetarian/vegan food, so I’m at least glad this place is there.

Well, my chicken Katsu is usually pretty tasty. After going there here and there for 3 years. Though the service(at least once) has been questionable, this time my Katsu was horrid. The curry was cold and solid on top and tasted like the spices had separated out. The chicken tasted like it had been fried earlier and reheated. The rice and the whole dish was only a little warm. I told the server who got Maria the manager who came up and told me she was sorry and asked if I wanted a side dish or something. Now, here’s the deal… If I tell you the dish isn’t right, ask if you can get me another one and apologize. Asking me to eat something substandard is an insult. I left. No more Wagamamma for me.

Cilantro garnish was yellow. Chicken dry and tasteless. Udon dull. We ordered the ginger chicken udon and the teriyaki salmon sofa. My husband can cook better at home. He is a Westerner. Overpriced for less-than-average wok food.

I should have trusted the other reviews. Mainly because they were right. Let me get this straight — I love the Wagamama concept. I have visited several of them throughout the years and I have always been satisfied. From the minute I walked through the doors at the Wagamama in Stockholm, I got the impression that something wasn’t quite right. The servers were rushing around, but seemingly without any effect. One guy actually ended up walking to the register to pay because none of the servers stopped by him — and was then also promptly ignored by three different servers before a fourth one helped him. Also, while waiting, there was no acknowledgement of the queue. No: «I’ll be right there.» from the servers whizzing by. Since I had been at various Wagamamas before, I quickly ordered once I was seated before my server could disappear on me. The best thing about the meal was actually the Fanta I ordered. My gyoza were overly baked(and turning black at the edges) and dry. My udon noodles with chicken was tasteless and bland. After eating some of the dish I discovered what was missing overall with the dish — it lacked salt or any kind of flavour beyond the ginger on top. The chicken tasted like it had been boiled and not in contact with a wok or a frying pan of any kind — bland. It’s a real shame, because Wagamama’s concept is good and the food is usually very good.

Aaaah Wagamama, what to say about you? Well it began with my pregnant wife getting a craving for tofu and we ended up here. Never been a big fan of the place, it looks too artificial and made up. I know this sounds like just another hipster complaining about the«ambiance» of a restaurant and it not being genuine enough but I can’t help not liking the place. The staff is friendly but even they look like they’ve been handpicked to fit the interior and its way too made up façade. But hey, I thought I’d review the food as well. It’s good, or rather its okey. I had the pork ramen, and I got a nice big bowl of exactly what I ordered(you won’t leave this place hungry). However, it doesn’t cut it, the noodles were a little overcooked, the egg as well and a big slap off salad and seaweed is dropped on top of it. Don’t get me wrong, it was ok, I was satisfied and my ramen experience was a Unilocaling three star one. The two stars awarded is more due to the fact that my wife got a piece of fish in her tofu soup and when she pointed this out to the waitress nothing was done about it. Sure, she was offered an apology but it was left at that. Wagamama really tries hard to pose as a quality restaurant but it doesn’t fit the bill.

It is a very nice alternative to all the lunch places around T-centralen, there are not much of good of them. In general it was positive experience, and all from my lunch company enjoyed their food, but definitely no «wow» effect and it was quite pricey for the regular japanese food. At the same time they have very limited selection of vegetarian food. So-so.

I liked the place, yes it is a little pricey but the food I had was awesome and according to my friends who had been there before the food is always good. Very well situated right next to Central Station in Stockholm. No reservations but it is big so the chances are the line will move quick. After my next visit I will add more information.

Nice Japanese kind of restaurant with a pretty interesting menu. I would go for a couple of the smaller dishes rather than any of the main courses. Those are ok but nothing more.

This place suffers from a price — quality(experience) ratio mismatch. Tasty, fresh, good service but too expensive as it has a fast food vibe to it.
