Griffin is one Of My favorite restaurants. You can come here for drinks, brunch or dinner and it’s always warm and perfect. The staf is professional, super friendly and attentive. Food is delicious! So far Everything has been delicious! Favorites are: Lobster Burger, Hamburger, The brunch hotdogs and their fries with truffle mayo. Great drinks and wine selection!

Went here with one of my best friends! We like to go out for meat together! It was really great. We waited in the bar for our table, had a beer from their pretty good beer selection. Neither of us were really feeling like wine, but they also seem to have a good wine list, not my forte, so I shouldn’t really say anything. We got seated and I got sparkling water and she got flat, complimentary, I forgot that it’s more common in Sweden than in US. Love complimentary sparkling water. We both ordered the«oxfile» and it was delish! The meat perfectly cooked and the meat so tender! SOTENDER! Oh, and their bathroom is really, really cool!

SCHICKIMICKIINSTOCKHOLM Upon arriving at about 5:00 p.m. on a Friday afternoon, we were cheerfully greeted and seated immediately at a small table along the windows facing the bar. We had made a reservation in advance. The table had a plastic bottle of BBQ sauce on it, along with tubes of salt and some other spice, and an over-sized thimble of butter. Drink orders were taken and bread in a bag was placed on our table. The bread was covered with sesame and very tasty, though over-salted. This, combined with the salted butter, was overkill. We ordered a couple of craft beers and a couple glasses of the French Syrah. Everything was wonderful. Looking around, we noticed that some folks were dressed in saggy jeans and t-shirts, while others were dressed to the nines. Women had invested time on make up, hair and accessories. Some men appeared to have just come from the office and were still in suits. We ordered the tenderloin and rib eye, with fries and new(baby) potatoes. Everything was delicious, though the tenderloin cut could have been higher quality for the price. The rib eye was slightly above average. Overall, the food rates 3 stars. What warrants the 4th star are the highly-attentive waitstaff, trendy atmosphere and unique wine list. If I lived in the area, I would frequent this locale for drinks — not so much the food.

Been here for both brunch and dinner, and they did deliver high quality both times. The a la carte might be priced in the higher range of steakhouses in Stockholm, but theres no question that its great food. The brunch is branded as a minor up tempo spot, with a DJ throwing some music while enjoying your food. Waiters are friendly and relaxed in a good way which adds to the nice feeling you get within the venue. Regarding the offerings on the brunch, they do have a lot, probably one of the most generous offerings i have seen in Stockholm so far. Cheese, charcuteries, different meats and desserts i dont even want to talk about. Ill just say that is enough for you to stop thinking of sugar for a couple of days, and that its mandatory to try their special Swedish(pancake)cake made out of pancakes before leaving. Its a very cool spot to start of a Saturday or Sunday at, and theres only two options when going. You can either go with food and drinks, or just the food… its forbidden to skip the food unless you are stuffed already!

First and last time visiting this restaurant! Good news was that they did NOT do the«Swedish jam», sitting right on top of the people next to you. We had to wait 7 – 8 minutes for our drink order being taken/greeted at the table. The waiter was great, but the rest of experience was average. As I have noted in other reviewing Stockholm needs a Ruth’s Chris Steak House(if they opened one here in Stockholm people would understand service and great food). The steak at Griffins was not good, fat and taste was poor. If not for the server I would rate 1 star! Food & wine prices are fair. I would NOT recommend Griffins. I will continue my journey of trying to find a great steak house here in Stockholm! PCUSA rating— average

Griffins steakhouse adds itself to the long list of Stockholm restaurants where you, if you have some perspective on customer service, feel like they want you to be grateful that they’ll have you. Snotty reception staff and outright rude bartenders that did the job of serving drinks ok but handled our inquiries due to misaligned expectations with a great deal of arrogance and told us off in a way that threw me off completely. That aside, table service was ok and the food was pretty good. Some of us had the three for three hundred menu that seemed pretty weak. I had a steak that was well prepared and good. But, the whole experience is tarnished by the feeling of not being particularly welcome and unappreciated. When are Swedish restaurant guests gonna wake up and demand decent customer service?!

Although expensive for Stockholm, the restaurant is within price range of its counterparts of most European capitals. The staff takes it kindly when you let them know of your garlic allergy and don’t go «yeah, but this is a steakhouse?» on you like some others. Despite the initial warning, we’ve realized one of our dishes had been served with garlic, which was immediately removed from the table and resulted in free espresso at the end of the meal. The selection of drinks is quite wide, although the deserts IMHO look fancier than delicious. All and all, make sure to book a table at least a day in advance(especially for Saturday evenings) since being a walk-in customer of this place looks to be impossible.

I visited Griffins both for eating and for hanging out for a drink or two at the bar. If I would just look at the food and dining experience I would not rate it as highly. The chef’s deliver standard steakhouse fare at the quality level I would expect, there is nothing really wrong with it but I find it difficult to be overexcited about it. What they are however doing great is to offer something decent close to the central station. There are not many places to go around here for a good bite to eat so they really excel in that way. The best dish I had was the rib-eye while I was slightly disappointed in the burger and the tenderloin was just acceptable. What I do however think that they do even better is to be a nice place to hang out for an after work drink or beer. The bartenders are great at mixing drinks, they have a good selection of wine and the beer selection is also good enough.

Went to eat here on my own last night. I understand that a table of one is not a restaurant favourite. But I was left standing in the reception for 15 minutes, a waitress told me she was very busy and I would have to wait. There were plenty of free tables, and plenty of staff. Not good enough. I left.
