Great Thai restaurant with vibrant fresh dishes. Have been here for both lunch and dinner and I’m left with a smile on my lips everytime I leave this establishment. It is possible to sit right at the entrance, downstairs or upstairs. The interior have a nice quite modern look with some Thai influences. Restrooms are clean, nicely designed but quite small in size. Tables and chairs might look a bit old and worn, but still fill its function perfectly. Want to take a smoke while eating, fine, there’s a outside seating area. The personnel us a mixture of Swedes and Thai, chef seems to be Thai.

Went here for their«a la carte» late at night. Got seated on their upper level which was very cozy overlooking the bar from the balcony. Had their mix plate to share for a starter and the green curry chicken as a main. The mix plate was definitely worth trying, Chicken, shrimp and a hot salad, which all together delivered a lot of different flavors for a great value. The chicken curry was also good, although it could have been hotter. I would therefore say that the hot scale is pretty Swedish, and no reason to hold back on your choice due to the pepper scale in the menu. Worst case, you will just end up crying out your cold. Service was quick as to expect with limited amount of ppl in the restaurant. This is the spot to grab a casual meal for reasonable money. You can find definitely find cheaper Thai food for take away, but if you wanna dine in, this is a good option!

Same same not different. Had the Lap Moo for lunch. Not only was the food aroi mak mak and phet phet, but the restaurant furnishing layout resembles a typical Bangkok food house. Imagine this, smells bkk, looks bkk but in Stockholm and given how hot this July 10 day is, I can only chill out with a tiger beer on ice. Very nicely done. Sawaadi krup!

For lunch this place is fantastic! Chicken curry at 89kr was very good and filling! Salad buffet, coffee/tea, and a mini-cupcake all included! They have outdoor seating on the street, cozy seating inside, and a garden in the back that got a lot of sun during the lunch hour(though they had all the umbrella’s up, didn’t understand that philosophy). Food came out fairly quickly for those in a lunchtime rush. Great lunch spot! Not sure how often I will be back, but this is a great option for those looking for a new lunch spot to try or that work nearby.

Food was awful. Tasteless, heated up, not fresh. Friendly staff, nice interior, good outside seating.

I can only speak here to the lunch menu, but this was pretty good as far as Thai food in Stockholm is concerned. The lunch was 85kr and was plenty of food for the price. The ingredients were fresh and salad and coffee were included. There is nothing particularly noteworthy about the interior nor the food, but it was a charming place and the food was slightly better than the usual run of the mill Thai food in Stockholm. Also, the food came out super fast after we ordered, which was a plus.

We went with three to waan thai 2 weks ago. The atmosphere was a bit double but overall not unpleasant. The food was definatelly nice but the staff far from attentive and a bit arrogant. Food was good so may go again if i have no toher option. Hello thai(prevous phuket house) is less atmosphere but food is equal and seem better priced

We went here on recommendation from a friend. It’s probably one of the best Thai places we’ve eaten at in Stockholm. They’ve got a really full menu, with several options that I haven’t found anywhere else in the city — like pad see ew. For appetizers, their papaya salad is fresh with a nice kick, and their fried prawns are plump, meaty and delicious. The fried chicken, while simple, is also good. The pad see ew loses some points for being made with long, thin rice noodles, but was overall tasty. The duck curry with fresh fruit, however, was a delicious surprise. We were expecting just pineapple, but were instead served curry with a variety of fresh nectarines, papaya, grapes, and apple. It was a mouth watering, bright contrast to the curry and duck. I did not try the pad thai, but our friend always makes it a point to order it. The portions are generous! Will be back for sure! Still no Thai iced tea :(!

Waan Thai has some of the best Thai cuisine Stockholm has to offer. The Gaeng Paneng is especially good. The intimate atmosphere makes for a nice dining experience. Can get busy at weekends at which point service tends to degrade a bit, but the food is well worth the extra wait.
