I visited this shop today to get a hair cut and color. Anna Lena was my stylist, and she was really sweet and talkative, and gave me a lovely looking little trim and color. She was really careful about treating my hair in it’s best interest as it is dry and she did the services I requested in a way to help my hair not become more dry/damaged, which I really appreciate. And she recommended some products to help restore health to my hair. I will be back for those. Given I rarely get a professional hair cut, it being beyond my normal spending level, I suffered from some sticker-shock. Though it was one of the very few-ever hair cutting and coloring experiences I have had that were actually good. I normally have hair stylists who have a mind of their own, and I usually leave looking ridiculous. I think my very-fine hair throws some stylists for a loop, though Anna Lena had my hair looking nice, and my husband commented that it looked great. I think it could have used a little more of some product to give it a little more structure/weight, but, if I could afford to go all the time, I would definitely see Anna Lena often. I had stopped at some other hair places, and they had kind of intimidated me [perhaps because it’s a rare experience for me]. This shop is warmly colored and cozy-small, and Anna Lena was really friendly, I felt immediately comfortable. I like this spot and enjoyed talking with her while I was there very much. Given I’m new to town, she also gave me a bunch of recommendations for places to see here. She’s really great. My sticker shock may also be based on the current exchange rate for USD$ to kr more than what are«normal» Stockholm prices, I’m not sure. And I tend to be… thrifty.
