Was punched by a racist customer with a british accent in this bar. Bouncer waited really long to do anything while I was pinned on the floor.(They seemed to know each other) Don’t go here. ever.

As someone from the UK, this place feels just like home. Sweden does not really have the same ‘pub’ culture that we have in the UK but the Tudor arms(the oldest British pub in Stockholm/Sweden, and voted one of the best outside of the UK) has taken all the best bits and make a classic pub with an honest feeling. The Tudor Arms is very popular when there is sports on(especially the English teams) and it packed with a mix of Swedes, English and people from all over the world. The do serve food(although I have not tried it yet) and bar snacks(crisps, chill nuts) and a mix of Swedish and imported beers. The interior is just like a British pub, lows of wood, low ceiling and a good ambience. A great for tourists, expats and locals looking for somewhere to drink with real character.

Tudor Arms is the oldest English pub in Stockholm(and perhaps in Sweden). In a sense it feels like stepping into a pub in England but it would probably be more accurate to say that it feels like stepping into a pub England the way they used to be. Nowadays many pubs in England have gone downhill and lack charm. Tudor Arms definitely have charm and the food is pretty decent as well. I actually prefer the food that they have for lunch, in the evenings the menu is ok but I do expect better for dinner and I often feel that the lunch is better here. The selection of beer is actually a bit disappointing since nowadays so many bars and pubs have better selections. It is however still possible to find something to my liking and the atmosphere is great.
