This place is just ‘ok’. I liked the idea before I went there. American Texas steakhouse atmosphere, where I can get a decent imported beer from the US and a good hearty burger. However, there were several things lacking from this place. First, the price of the beers and burgers were verging on ridiculous. 180kr for a burger that was ok. It was a bit heartier than your run of the mill pub burger here in Stockholm, but there was nothing particularly good about it either. The bun was standard, there was a lousy tomato, a slice of iceberg lettuce and mayonnaise on it and that was it. The burger was supposed to come with fries, but because we’re three they opted to give us a basket of fries to share. The basket was so small though that unless we mistakenly ordered from a kids menu, bordered on absurd. Lastly the service was terrible. I don’t usually complain about the service. Waiting for your food is just part of the experience when you go out to eat in Stockholm, but we waited forever for our burgers and then never saw the waiter again. We had wanted to order more beers in the midst of waiting, but the waiter never came around. We finally gave up on more beers and instead waited for the waiter to come around so we could get the check. We finally had to go and get our waiter to get the check.
