Tartan café is a very cozy place, the staff was very warm and helpful. The pie’s are very delicious. I highly recommend this café!

We were on a crazy long walk in a freezing weather, this café literally saved our and puppie’s life. huge delicious cups of tea and huge even more delicious pies! Very sweet staff and cozy environment, very affordable. highly recommend!!!

Never again!
Last year I went there and had the best semla of 2013, and a great evening.
This year I don’t know what changed, but the semla was not only different, but much worst. However the most disappointing part was getting there by 16h45, order, seat, and literally 5 minutes later they came and informed me that the place was fully booked for a dinner, so I had to leave at 17h. Couldn’t they have said that before I bought that lousy semla?
I give it two stars in honour of a good memory, but never again.

We loved this place! We visited here every morning for breakfast. You see some small business owners, tourists (us), and cool people hanging with their Apple computers. Loved the apple tart and coffee… Cheesecake looked really good too. We were happy that this café was open at 9AM or so, before the twitching hour of 10AM when most shops open…
