This newly opened STHLM Tapas at Henriksdalskajen is already a popular place. When they open at 5PM you can get a table, but at 6.30 the restaurant is packed. Unfortunately the weather was too chilly, because they have a nice outdoor seating area with an amazing view over the water and Södermalm. The food is like most tapas places. 58SEK for every dish, which is a decent price. The meny consist of 32 different tapas. The waitress recommended 3 – 5 per person, I chose 3 — potatoes with aioli, lamb ribs and quesadillas and that was plenty of food. I don’t think I would have managed to eat more. Everything tasted fine, nothing out of the ordinary though. The staff is young and you can tell they need some more training. The food arrived, one tapas at a time(which means she had to run up and down the stairs with one small plate at a time) after a while, she came out with what we thought were the rest of them — but one was still missing. It showed up a few minutes later. The big plus of this restaurant is that it is close to home, it has an unbeatable view and the restaurant is very neat and open. The noice level, however, is quite loud — but that is something I’ve noticed at several different Tapas restaurants. Overall, I recommend this place. If you’re looking for a nice place to eat some good tapas, drink some wine and hang with friends, this is definitely the place to go.
