Pretty average tapas experience and by far behind some other places in Stockholm. The menu is a bit innovative with some special creations and the food was ok. The housewine was pretty decent. The service was nice, but we were told that we could only have the table for 1h20min and after that time we promptly got asked if we wanted to have the bill even though the restaurant was half empty. Disturbing. So if you want to have a quick bite and there’s nothing else around, you’ll be fine. If you want to have superb tapas you might want to look elsewhere.

I went here with a group of friends for dinner and was taken aback with the very high quality of food. We had a generous set of dishes amounting to at least six a person and each was a feast for the palette. The place was packed on a weekday so I recommend that you book in advance. If I am to fault anything it was the high temperature. Suppose that’s what happens in a popular place.

My first time to Sthlm Tapas and it did not let me down. First off, let’s talk about the food. So I am a huge fan of Tapas, what can you not love about ordering multiple small plates and enjoying a little bit of everything? Well, I love it! The way it works here is that you are given a menu that you, yourself, pick the items on. Then you give the crossed of menu to your waitress/waiter and they put it in the computer and voila, after a short while you have your food. Simple, no miss-communication, and it adds to the fun. Our company of 7 requested our menus back since we otherwise would forget what we had ordered, and also to be able to order more if and when we wanted. I got the grilled Feta cheese with watermelon, butter fried chantarelle toast, quesedilla and pan fried potato wedges. First off, if you have never tried grilled feta with watermelon go straight to the supermarket, buy some feta and watermelon, go home, grill it up and be amazed! I sure was. It was SO good! The Quesedilla was also delicious, very spicy and they made it with crème cheese(hello goodness!!). The potatoes, well … they were potatoes and tasted like potatoes should. The one thing I did not like was the butter fried chantarelle toast, I mean … I would have guessed it because it said butter fried and I’m not a fan of butter tasting things. My husband ended up eating that one. The rest of the company thought their food was overall good, there was some complaints that there could have been more spices and salt on several things but I find that I’ll rather add it myself than having something overly salty. About the place, where we were seated it was very crowded, when the place was full it seemed hard for the waitresses to get around, but from the looks of it they knew what they were doing. They might have had another space with seating entering towards the opposite, in fact, I think they did but I never explored it more than just seeing it. Overall, it was a great experience(the company also makes a huuuge impact right?). it’s time to grill up some feta.

Tapas with non-traditional ingredients in a dark and pub like locale. All tapas dishes are the same price so it’s easy to calculate the cost of your order — a concept that is as simple as it is clever. Service was good. Loved the ox cheek — it was so tender it fell apart as you looked at it and once in my mouth it just melted and merged with my soul. They also have a slider(mini burger) which is also a hit. I’d come back, no doubt.
