My friends and I have one tradition when I’m in town and that is to go eat tapas at a certain restaurant. This time my friends arrived early and realized that our normal spot for tappad had sadly ben replaced with a Burger place. We of course weighed the option if we should just go for burger but no, it was tapas night! Further down the street and my friends found Caliente. It was crowded, they had tapas, we were sold. I arrived to my friends who had gotten a table close to the restrooms, but we really didn’t care(or we actually didn’t really know at first) We got our drinks pretty fast and opted for«menu 2» which meant 12 tapas plates to share. It didn’t take that long for the food to get done and it was all very good. I especially enjoyed the olive dish, which was basically marinated olives. The menu also came with taco mozarella sticks, potatoes and aioli, chorizo, calamares, mushrooms, and other things that I know can’t understand when reading the menu because it is in spanish(imagine that?). BUT, to sum it up, it was good food. SO, the three star is mainly because it took forever to get the waitress attention after we had ordered both the drinks and the food. And I know it is not the restaurants fault but placing a table RIGHT by the restrooms is always a no no to me, we were literally getting bumped into when people where waiting for the restroom to become available, no bueno. I do want to say I really really liked the place, and in another seating I might have. They do have a lot of outdoors seating but we were all kind of chilly so we opted for inside. If the weather permits next time, and if we do try this place again, I’ll go for outside seating.

The food was very good but the service mediocre. A colleague and I were pointed here by a local. Colleague asked if they had ginger ale, no was all he got, asked for something else, no. Waitress said drinks listed here. Only coca cola products were readable. Asked for English menu but they had none. The waitress did help with ordering but not the easiest. My colleague said no garlic but his meal she recommended had garlic. I was recommended a burrito and ordered it, or so I thought, I got fajitas. Not terrible but difficult. Price was fair.
