Loved the location. Dead center of Gamla Stan. Staff was very nice. Wife and daughter got vegetarian sandwich. I got the chicken. Huge portions for each entrée. The walls have nice graffiti of all tourists who visit the restaurant. The coffee was also good. Prices are reasonable for Stockholm.

The cinnamon rolls are awesome. Don’t miss the fresh mint and ginger tea with honey. Great place to hang out and warm up.

This place was one of the best ways to end an amazing trip to Sweden. It is no secret the Swedes are great with their sweets, but this place was amazing! We snuck in before closing and ordered like we were going to the chair. Our order was: two Choklad Biskvier, a piece of Princess Cake, all rounded out by a slice of the Lemon Merengue Pie and a cup of tea. The Biskvier were very tasty, they are super rich because of the butter but were really tasty. The cookie on the bottom was a little different than the other shops we had tried, good, but not at much cookie as you’d like. They were out of the Raspberry princess cake, we were bummed, so we went with strawberry. It was really good, nice and light, and the fillings were perfectly fluffy! Just a tip: Green Princess Cake — Raspberry, Pink Princess Cake — Strawberry! The Lemon Merengue Pie was a little underwhelming. Good, but nothing special. We ordered it impulsively per the recommendation of the cashier. I’d opt for the traditional Swedish desserts :) Definitely pop in!

Stopped by for a hot chocolate while exploring Gamla Stan due to noticing the café while strolling the streets the previous night. The hot chocolate was decadent and served with cream and homemade marshmallows. The serving size was large and the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for — cozy and a little funky. The staff was extremely friendly. However, I would have stayed longer and enjoyed more treats if wifi had been available.

Very cute, small café with good deserts. Can’t beat the locations and feel if old town with the narrow streets. Coffee and pastries are available but the cake was my favorite. We stumbled on the place walking through the streets and so glad I stopped in.

Cute little café near Stockholm Royal Palace. I had a cappuccino and almond cake, both were awesome! Their sandwiches are also wonderful. But best of all, the staff was very friendly, greeted me with a warm smile and was welcoming beyond expectation. Wonderful taste of Swedish hospitality. Would definitely go back !

We walked into Schweizerkonditoriet and were greeted by the friendly employees. They were very helpful in recommending some great treats to go along with our hot chocolate after coming in to warm up from walking around on a cold and blustery day. They recommended the traditional Princess cake and the very popular Semla. Our server brought out the hot chocolate first, which looked amazing! It came in a big bowl. Big bowl of hot chocolate on a cold day… YUM! The bowl of hot chocolate was topped with whipped cream along with a candied dollop of whipped cream looking sugar and cocoa powder sprinkled across the top of everything. So good! It was awesome to be able to wrap our hands around a big bowl of warmth after coming in from the cold. Definitely makes my Top 10 favorite places to order hot chocolate in Europe list… coming in at number 2! The Semla was a cardamom-spiced wheat bun with its top cut off, and was filled with a mix of milk and almond paste and topped with whipped cream. The top of the bun is placed back on the pile of whipped cream, which creates the appearance of a little hat. On top of the hat was a candied sugar dollop and was sprinkled with powdered sugar and cardamom. The Princess cake consisted of alternating layers of airy sponge cake and pastry cream, and a thick domed layer of whipped cream. It was topped by green marzipan and sprinkled with powdered sugar. The princess cake and the Semla were delicious! I was very impressed with the Schweizerkonditoriet.

Delicious pastries! I came here with my friend from out of town to show her a typical Swedish café. The deserts were very Swedish! Princess cake and chocolate balls! The tables were a little close together, and the mugs had chips in them… Adds character right? Would definitely go back!

Cute little Café in gamla stan with a coffe bar and absolutely delicious looking sandwhiches and pastries. As we got there early in the morning, we just had coffee. But other patrons seemed to really enjoy their food.
