Prime Burger

This is the second location of Prime Burger i try, and i recon they had changed the menu, probably a refresh and also adjust to demand.
Last time i went on a spree but this time i managed to restrain my brain. I took their hottest choice with coleslaw on the side. The burger was juicy and tasty as before, and i liked the sting of it. The coleslaw was a fresh addon to fill up the last space of the gut.
I didnt get overwhelmingly full, but it was still a reasonable sized burger which satisfied my needs this day. Venue was nicely decorated and it we didnt have any problems getting a table. Service was attentive and flawless which always sets the baseline to a great meal.
Overall a tasty burger in a pleasant environment!

In fairness the burgers are pretty good but I would avoid this place because the service is pretty bad. Been here a couple times and have always had the same slow experience even when the burger joint isn’t even busy. There is also this underlying attitude by many of the serving staff which is annoying.

Excelentes hambúrgueres acompanhados por batatas fritas ótimas. Ambiente descontraído e esplanada para os dias quentes de verão. Vale a pena visitar para quem está em Söder. Os hambuerguers são tenrissimos e têm 200 g pelo que não é difícil ficar satisfeito. Recomendo.

I eat burgers all the time and have been to some great burger places all over the world, but Prime Burger was one of the best I’ve had, hands down. On this visit I had the special, which was a cheeseburger with BBQ sauce, bacon, and grilled onion. It was excellent. I want one right now, but since I’m in California at the moment, that’s nearly impossible.

Delish! Burgers were great! Service was good! I loved the sweet potato fries (one of my favorite foods). Felt like home. =) We sat there for so long just laughing and enjoying our food that I think we were the last customers of the night. Even though I think they were waiting to close up, they never bugged us once or seemed upset to be waiting. Overall, really nice food, people and atmosphere.

I have eaten at Prime Burger Company’s other restaurant on Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm and enjoyed it quite a bit. The visit to this new location was, however, not giving me the same level of enjoyment.
We were five guys. The entire table ordered milkshakes as starters while we waited for two more guys to show up. The milkshakes took forever to come and when they did come they were lukewarm and melted — like they had been ready for 20 minutes standing in room temperature while the waitress was busy forgetting about them — they didn’t have that thickness you want milkshake to have. A real disappointment.
Then we ordered burgers. I wanted to try something different so I chose a pulled pork sandwich. It wasn’t so much a sandwich since it came in burger buns. The bottom bun was soaked in pork juice and within minutes the paper that it rested on was too. I started to get wet paper shreds stuck in the food as I cut my sagging mess of a pork sandwich apart with fork and knife. Yuck.
Then it was time to pay. I paid more than my share because we all wanted to chip in and cover for the fellow in our company who was the birthday boy. The friend next to me did the same thing before the waitress explained that anything we paid in excess of our share of the bill was automatically registered as tip and there was NO way to get that money to become payment for the bill. What an utterly useless system.
If someone complains about the food, the restaurant can say the food is on the house — so why not just give the birthday boy the food without us having to pay for it and then later transfer money from the «tip account» to cover for it? Well apparently there was nothing anyone could do — I had involuntarily paid a rather hefty tip for a dinner experience that didn’t even deserve any tip. Boo.

When I lived in Sweden in 2011 finding a good burger was hard but now 3 years later with Prime burger and Flippin burger it has become way easier. It’s ambitious burgers. If you want to be sure you are getting a good burger in Stockholm you have to go to a place that specializes in making burgers. Otherwise you could wind up getting a fars (really processed meat) burger, which is no good and you’d probably be better of ordering a veggie one.
At prime burgers the meat is actually meat and the food is good.
