It’s a fun place, very American and a lot of color! I also really liked the outdoor seating during summer. You can stop by, get a burger, squeeze in at a table and move on. So great setup. The burger itself is good, not great and the selection of choices is ok, but if you are a burger nerd there are other places that you will appreciate more. But for a decent burger in a really great atmosphere this is the place!

This, the second restaurant in the Lily’s franchise, is perfect in terms of interior design and — most importantly — the burgers. It’s located a little off the beaten path on a street with not much else on Söder — but still close to Medborgarplatsen. The place is designed like an old American 50’s diner with bright colors, and it has a great atmosphere. Just like at their place on Kungsholms Strand. they have chefs who know how to fry a burger pat — they are always perfect.

Great burgers, I had the«bad» with fries Great beer selection and awesome shakes, medium is a bit pink for me so medium well might be more in my taste. Positioned in the heart of hipsterville SOFO on Södermalm, neighbor with a lot of hip bars

OK the burger was good. The issue is the whole rest of the experience. I walk in and sit at the counter, the staff continue on side work, the world moves on like I’m not there. I look over to the place where I see some people ordering and wonder if it’s take out. After about 5 minutes I ask whether they’re taking orders at the register and they say yes. So, I make my order. They hand me the shake and it is OK. 55SEK for something that tastes like it comes from cheap ice cream and they serve it to me in the blender cup which is only about a third full. The fries, pretty blah too. Basically the whole experience was blah. Definitely not at the minimal standards of an American diner. Also, the old dancehall reggae playing wasn’t bad but definitely cliché for the neighborhood and really not with the diner approach they seemed to be going for. OK, so you’re Swedes. If you went to a Swedish restaurant that served Swedish pancakes with strawberry jam and make them like American pancakes — as a Swede you’d likely find it annoying too. So don’t try to pull off the classic American diner feel without any wait staff, bad shakes, and typisk reggae. It’s an insult. For God’s sake buy a plane ticket and go to a few of these places, even the chain joints like Johnny Rockets pull it off better than Lily’s.

A great vibe in this very American inspired diner/burger joint. Very similar to the original place. The menu is kind of the same, great beer selection with five taps. Friendly and quick staff. Great tasting veggie patty. Feels good to have a Lily’s closer to the great beer places.
