Phil’s Burger

The burger was good, fries a bit to soft and alas the restaurant was out of milk shakes

Really good basic burgers! They have a well of extras to spicy up the simple burgers. The burger patties are tasty and cooked to a perfect medium.
Good beer on tap and not to expensive!
A good local eat.

We tried Phil’s for lunch and the experience was perfect. We added on caramelized onions and bacon. The burger was perfectly cooked with a thin pink line through the middle of the patty, the fries were crunchy and well seasoned. We even enjoyed the bread! Nothing too fancy, minimal elements but all well done with lots of favor! Definitely warrants a return trip!

Because of you guys, I had to change my favorite burger list in Stockholm (see it below):
Heard bad things about the decoration, came here for dinner on a Friday night and was very positively surprised, the decoration and chilled light was perfect for the purposes of a burger joint. Wonderful service by a girl with gorgeous Disney-​eyes. Super-​smart serving system: pay up-​front, grab a number and enjoy the evening.

We went with Double Phil’s, I topped off with jalapeños
Meat: Very very very nice — not quite Flippin — but darn close. A bit too little salt for my taste — so next time I’ll go with extra cheese to add some salt. Very tender and juicy, disintegrates when you touch it.
Bun: The best bun of Stockholm — hands down! This is it! All it becomes as it gets compact in the juices of the burger, is a small protective layer to keep your fingers dry — that’s it. Best burger bun!

Perfect! Sauce that came with fries: Didn’t do it for me — sweet-​ish. They should have mor picks.
*Shake*
Went with the Oreo. Nice but Lily’s and Flippins does them a bit better. A bit too thick and you noticed that it wasn’t high quality ice-​cream for the shake.
So friends, here’s my current Burger list of Stockholm. I’m sooo looking forward to going back to Phil’s all the time. Thanks Phil’s! You guys might very well make 5 Starts if you keep up this quality.

Me and my colleagues come here for lunch on a regular basis. The burgers are quite alright, although I think the quality has decreased lately unfortunately. In the beginning everything was fresh, and everything looked clean. Now the burgers look a bit sloppy made and, nah, something isn’t just up to standard.
The fries are thin and delicious.
That set aside, it’s a decent burger place, with very good burgers. Among the best in Stockholm. I just hope they work on keeping it up!

The is a little bland sand greasy. And you should really have chicken burgers and lactose milk shake.

Very good burgers and delicious fries. Nice and cozy place with affordable prices. If I’m nearby I will go there for sure.

Spacious place but seems a bit hipster so I would advice that you book a table just to be sure.
They only have 2 or 3 choices for burgers so you don’t lose time choosing what you want.
I had the double cheese and friends on side. Very good, very tasty, and quality meat. For once the burger was not overcooked, I had it medium rare.
It was just a bit too oily overall, as well the fries and the burger. Like, if was literally dropping… But again, the taste was good, so why not! And the other not-​so-​great aspect was the noise, not so much from the people but from the music. I came at 6 to have quiet dinner but could barely talk with my friends. So maybe try at lunch, it should be more quiet?

Our Burger Trip in Stockholm brought us to Phil’s Burger.
The location looks clean and nice.
We odered a tradional Burger, a Double Cheeseburger, homemade Fries and Cole Slaw.
The burger beef was well done and tasty. The buns were homemade and of course you can order your bun gluten-​free.
The fries were already cold and the homemade hamburger sauce were okay.
The Cole Slaw is homemade too, but it misses some spicy ingredients.
Phil’s Burger isn’t the best Burger in town, but many Guests show it isn’t the worst. With only 4 burger variation there is no big choice.

Visited Phil’s burgers a few weeks ago with my mother. I had a halloumi burger with fries and their special sauce. The food was delicious; perfect double fried fries and a refreshingly innovative vegetarian burger (I personally feel that they are hard to find). The only downside was the bread, that looked pale and was a bit soggy. The atmosphere at lunch was hectic, the restaurant is not made for the guests to sit there for a long time, you pay for your food in the bar and take a seat. Then you wait, eat and leave. Over all, it is a great lunch spot. I would not have dinner here though

Very good burger. Reminds me of homemade burgers. This was juicy and tasty. One of the best I have had in Stockholm. The fries just were not for me. Too crunchy.

By Stockholm standards, this is a good burger joint. We ordered the cheeseburger and veggie burger and fries. The fries were delicious!!! I really enjoyed the veggie burger; very flavorful.

After picking up a couple of different hashtags and reading some reviews with a wide variety of outcome, i decided to give it a try.
I went all-​in and took their double burger, fries and a oreo milkshake which is supposed to be good. Everything landed on 204 SEK which nowadays is pretty much in line with every other burger joint in Stockholm. Although its kinda cheap that lots of them charge extra for fries, i put my hope into their healthy concern about it.
You order by the counter and then its all served to your table on a simple tray. Bread was fresh, and the double burger is 220 grams, but patties could have been pinkish. I liked their fries which was very crispy due to surviving a double frying procedure. Milkshake was fairly sized and oreos did add a new dimension to the meal.
Cant say much about service since we didnt interact that much, but i guess it was alright.
This is a simple joint that serves great burgers, so dont expect extravagance since the venue itself or service doesnt add up to a spectacular experience.
To put it in context, as long as you are there for their burger, you probably wont be disappointed.

Good address, tidy and modern but with a rather «cold» looking interior design. Outdoor seating on a bustling corner with no immediate competition in the burger business.
I knew something was off when they didn’t have a burger with bacon on it. So I ordered one with cheese but with two burger patties. My sister ordered a regular.
We were almost alone in the place when we ordered and still the food was slow (although not unacceptably slow).
Food came out and it was packaged in quite a unique manner (fries in a bag, burger in a sideways bag) which of course made it memorable in its own way.
However, my sister realized after eating half of her burger that she was eating mine (the double). So apparently, without asking, they had given the 5′ girl the double burger and the 6′ guy the regular — way to avoid gender stereotyping! But seriously, they couldn’t have asked «which one of you ordered the double?» when they came out with the food?
Not a single one of our combined three burger patties were pink in the middle, so they clearly don’t know how burgers should be cooked. Cardinal sin right there.
The bread buns were pale — in fact so pale I found it less appetizing. Are they even done in the oven before they take them out? Of this is a «thing» I’m missing the point.
Fries were unique but not in a particularly good way — they are generously seasoned which I like, but the potato strips are so thin that the frying procedure have shriveled them up completely. A quarter of the content in the bag of fries is just small, leftover pieces of potatoes that have been so aggressively fried that they’re completely inedible. You can feel yourself getting cancer as you force yourself to try it.
All in all, not a good burger experience — not at all. I would come back under gunpoint. Maybe.

Amazing burger, great stuff. Definitely going back.
