BrewDog Bar

Just got back from a quick bite to eat, didn’t come for the beer which is quite good. We shared a cheese burger which was okay, nothing special had some mediocre fries (not included) which were also okay and we shared the ribs, which in my book was hands down the shittiest ribs I ever had. I mean, holy shit, it’s like they were boiled and then were partly smudged with some bbq-​sauce. It had the same texture as boiled fish, just fell apart, but not the good kind of fall apart, like tender meat, no this was more of the slippery way where the fat is still everywhere not cooked away, just slippery and there was literally no texture. Zero. Taste was bad, had to work really hard to finish most of the portions and after my hands smelled like fish. Ew, weird I know. So go for the beer and the hipsters but stay away from the food, specially ribs.

Fantastic place! The atmosphere is incredible during weekends! The staff is super friendly, the guests are easy going which makes BrewDog Bar a perfect place for meeting new friends, the table sharing makes it even easier! The only real «problem» here is the popularity and the size of the place, very often it gets so crowded and since the place is quite small there might be problematic to find free places.
They have an upper floor with tables but many times it is closed even if it is full on the bottom floor.
Great variety of beers and nit just from BrewDog but also from other breweries.
Very easy to rate a 5 here!

WE LOVE BEER
Brew Dog Beer never disappoints. The selection of Brew Dog Beer was extensive, as was the selection of other craft beer.
Although the food menu here offers far more than the location in London, we didn’t want to risk having the same bad experience, so we stuck to drinking.
Stockholm is expensive, so the pricing is high, yet accurately aligned with the norm.
I would have given this place 5 stars, but the barmaid wasn’t very friendly. No matter, the beer was as awesome as usual.

It’s an amazing bar! Pricey but worth the visit. They have a huge selection of beers and the bar staff are very friendly and will help you if you do not know what you want. Check out the bathroom though! It’s epic!

I’ll start off this review by mentioning how badly I did NOT want to go to this bar.
I’ve tried a few IPAs before and I’ve always disliked them. I dislike hoppy beers in general (I recently discovered I’m a «supertaster», so that could be the reason). Call me weak, but I’ll take a Peroni or Heineken before an IPA any day. Because I assumed BrewDog would only serve IPAs, this place was not on my radar.
I was almost right! There is a huge variety of beers here, but the majority of them are IPAs or generally very strong/​hoppy. I set my sights on having a dry night and not having anything to drink here. Not only was I not interested, but those prices! (Ok, yes, we are in Stockholm. But some of those prices are OUTRAGEOUS)
It all changed when the bartender started questioning why I wasn’t drinking. I told him I didn’t think I’d like any of the beers, and his reaction is what earned this place it’s 4^th star. He took it as a challenge and asked me what I liked to drink. 3 samples later I was not impressed, but after another round of questions, he had me try one (forgot the name, woops) and I liked it. Miracle?
This led to a great conversation with both this bartender and another who was almost on her way home. I could be biased because I’m also a foreigner in Stockholm as these bartenders were, but their friendliness and great attitude was refreshing. I loved it!

It was amusing how much it looked like the BrewDog pub in Bristol, which I have frequented more often. Smaller though, and with some sort of restaurant on the second floor (which we did not visit). Still a nice space and the beers are as exciting as anywhere. Definitely a place to go with a friend or small group to drink through some non-​ordinary beers. They are high in alcohol though (old jungle trick for tasty beer), so take it easy.

Great place for a high quality beer, however the beer is very expensive. I had a great Belgium beer for 89 kronas or about $ 15. The beer was great, but the same beer in Los Angeles is half the price. Lots of locals as well as tourist come here. The atmosphere is good, and the bartenders are cool. I did not try the food here, but it looked good.

Scottish brewers BrewDog have opened up one of their bars in Stockholm as well. Having visited their London bars I had this on the list of places to visit for a fairly long time. One a Wednesday evening after work it was just the right amount of people there. Almost full but still possible to find a seat — gives the place a nice atmosphere and the friendly and knowledgeable staff is an additional strength.
Beer is of course their main thing and their own beer is of course sold there. I am a fan of it but appreciate the selection of guest beers even more. A lot of small microbreweries represented both on tap and by the bottle. I cannot really fault them for the selection but the pricing is high, perhaps unfair as the price level in Stockholm is high but it annoys me when I had the same beer at their London bar for a third of the price. Was considering to give it a 3 but the quality level deserves a 4. This part of town also really deserves a decent bar so in that way a great addition.

Great beer, food, and atmosphere. I tried both the burger and steak and they both were awesome! The beer was GREAT and The staff was super fun and friendly. I will most def recommend this place to friends and I will be back…

Brewdog is a must for all you beer lovers out there. And by that I mean good beers and not just crap.
Brewdog is the place for you
If you value good quality beers and especially good IPA or APA: s (Indian pale ale/​American pale ale).
If you like crappy lager beer then this place is not for you !
Brewdogbar Stockholm don’t just have beer from its own brand but many imported IPAs all around the world, especially from the US.

Great beer and friendly staff. Went to the Sunday quiz which was a fun experience, although brew dog specific questions were a drag.
Upstairs restaurant pulls down the rating: it’s loud, cramped and the burgers aren’t fantastic.
Overall ⁴⁄₅ though! Best beer in this area of town.

I can only speak for the beer which is first class. Make sure not to miss the guest beer list!

The beer brand Brewdog hops on the IPA/​burger/​hipster hype in Stockholm & starts their own bar. The verdict:
+ Friendly staff
+ Great beer (the one I wanted was unavailable though)
+ Awesome onion rings served with burger but
— Burger wasn’t very good compared to the top tier
— Staff kind of forgot about us for a while (they were friendly though)
— Bad indoor climate, I want AC when paying premium for beer
— Expensive to mega-​expensive beer
Totally ok place. But then again why settle for ok? Flippin Burgers is nearby and pwns this place (2h waiting though).
