My haloumi burger was cold, but it tasted excellent. The milkshake was top notch! Will visit again, maybe at another location.

Had one of the famous Phil’s Burgers with Pommes(French Fries) with Phil’s Special Sauce and i am a fan! You can see the burgers being cooked right on the grill as you order. Once you order they some how find you between their upstairs and downstairs seating. I choose take out and it was around a 10 minute wait. It was all worth it. The burgers are cooked medium, but I am sure you can request a different cooking doneness.

Better than Burger King or McDonald’s but I’d recommend Franky’s more if you really crave a BOMB hamburger. I visited on Friday, and perhaps that’s why it was so crowded but it was packed!!! A group of people who asked for a table were told to wait 25 – 30 min for a table. Hence the noise level was pretty high. It get as though I was dining at Holister or Abercrombie because it was dark, with bad music blasting and filled with young unmannered common folks. In the summer, I’d recommend taking the food out and eating it at the nearby park, Humlegården. UPDATE: the table we got seated to were dirty so — 1 star.

Another fantastic burger joint in Stockholm!!! If you want a nice place to grab a casual glass of wine or beer and a delicious lunch or dinner in Östermalm… this is your spot!!! They really do have great burgers and fries(I especially appreciate that their fries taste fresh and not from the freezer)! At this location, they have a nice full bar with several beers on tap and a variety of wines behind the counter. If your not up for alcohol, the milkshakes look absolutely great too! Here you can also try their«Halloumi burger» if your a non-meat eater(gotta love that squeaky little cheese! This is something that I think Americans would love that really isn’t that popular yet in the states.) They have a small variety of toppings to choose from for the burgers, but I really love avocado and it wasn’t on the menu. However, I asked if they had some and they provided it happily. YAY!!! =) The burger craze in Stockholm came quite a while back, but is officially here to stay for the long haul! These little greasy hipster haunts never get old! At this particular hip burger joint, I love the décor, packaging, branding, service and location. The prices here are great too, but the location and interior design especially make it feel like your getting a lot more value out of your Kronor! The food is really good and It’s a great place to start your night on the cheap side before heading out for a fancy Stureplan style cocktail! All I can say is …**WINNING** SOGOOD! thumbs up. TIP: They do takeout too!

I really, really enjoyed Phil’s Burger, and was thoroughly surprised by how much I did! I love that they offer slight customization, and the sauces(including sriracha/hot sauce) are all you can consume. The chips are perfect, the burger was delicious. There’s not much more to say on that matter! My friend ordered a milkshake — I think that was a meal in itself. The oreo milkshake was just cookies, cookies, chocolate, and more cookies. Mmm.

Well it may be Stockholms best burger joint. Melt in your mouth patties, good fries, wonderful soft brioche bread … Only issue is the queue to order system but service is rapid after that. Basic décor but it’s a burger right so who cares !!! Go there !

So I’d heard about Phil’s from a bunch of friends, all urging me to go. Since they opened around the corner from me on Birger J, I thought I’d try it. The good: the food, firstly. I had the Double Phil’s with bacon(‘The Artery Clogger’). Delicious, messy, awesome. And fries, with Béarnaise(‘The Heart Attack’). All delivered in under 15 mins. With a smile. The bad: Nothing. Oh, OK(but really stretching ‘bad’): they had run out of red wine. And the table could have been wiped down a bit better. I’m giving them 4 stars on account of the wine. Its great. Go. Also, MUCH better than Prime Burger.

Good solid burgers at decent prices! First of all, I think the location is great — it’s near Stureplan, but not right in the middle of it so you’re not elbowing to get a table on a Friday night. And because it’s near Stureplan, if you want to go to a nice bar afterwards you’re only a 5 minute away from the pulse of the city. I’ve been here twice now; once on a Friday night and once during lunch on a Friday. Let’s start with Friday night: It was busy around 20:00, but not so crowded that we couldn’t get a table. They have 2 floors(the top floor is more mezzanine style), and they had music blasting from the 2nd floor which made it a bit hard to converse with your friends. We chose the bottom floor and sat ourselves down. You have to order at the bar, so we did that(I went for the Phil’s Burger + Bacon), picked up some beers, and waited for the food to come. The food came out quickly which was a huge positive. I was a huge fan of their AW priced beers — I was drinking Punk Dog IPA all night long for cheap! Let’s talk lunch. I arrived at 11:30 to meet a friend who I hadn’t seen in a long time. I was the 3 person in the restaurant, so I sat myself down and waited for my friend to show. He came in, tripped at the door, and found me right away. We ordered(again at the bar: Phil’s Burger + jalapenos), sat down, and within a few minutes our food came out.(My friend also tripped on the way out — they really need to fix the entrance!) How’s the food? Well, the meat in the burgers are juicy, well seasoned, and the buns are soft and yummy. The cheese is nicely melted over the burger and the fries are crispy. How does it compare to the king of Stockholm burgers, Flippin’ Burgers? I’d say they’re on par with each other. Phil’s is less pretentious and has a different feel to Flippin’. I can imagine that it’d be a pretty awesome place to hang out on other Fridays now that they’re moving the DJ set-up downstairs. Four stars because I don’t like how they charge you 10 kr for bacon, grilled onions, jalapenos, etc. Okay, maybe for bacon, but for jalapenos? I think they should offer one extra topping for free! I’d definitely come back — I really like that there are alternatives to Flippin’!
