My last dinner in Stockholm was here on a Saturday night. There was about a 15-min wait for a table for two, so boyfriend and I headed for the bar. For some reason, the place was filled with about 85% male patrons — it smelled like wet rag/unwashed underarms thinly veiled with shitty cologne. They all hung out towards the front part of the bar(closest to the door) so I had to throw elbows to make it towards the empty end of the bar where there were no stools and where all the guys used the hooks under the counter to hang their stuff. Mixed drink selection was so-so, since they didn’t really have anything besides whiskey and bourbon cocktails. The food though — Jesus Christ. Huge portions of lobster in the roll, with the slightest touch of mayo. Came with a boatload of garlicky, buttery, hollandaise-type emulsion that went great with the fries. Salad could have gone without the parmesan. Burger was massive with perfectly portioned toppings(it didn’t slip out with every bite or drip out). Plastic bib optional, but we wore them anyway.

Burger & Lobster might very well be the Golden Arches of surf&turf restaurants, but the food is actually very good and the service at our visit was worth at least six stars! …and no wait time whatsoever. Perfect place before your movie.

Being a fan of this chain in London, I was very disappointed with a restaurant in Stockholm. Way below London’s level. Lobster was very watery, it wasn’t grilled properly, portions were smaller, service wasn’t good enough. There are so many great places in Stockholm, this one is clearly not one of them.

Tried out this«new» restaurant because it’s close to work and I live the idea of an after work hangout:) The staf was amazingly friendly and helpful, hence 4 stars. We started out in the bar with wine and beer. Quite expensive. 74kr for a Brooklyn Lager and 550kr for a bottle of Zinfandel. After a while they offered us to move to the restaurant part. The décor is great! Dark and cosy. We ate lobster roll and it was good. I should have tried the hamburger since I don’t like lobster but the roll was good and the fries was great! A shipment of the largest lobsters I have ever seen came in and was put into the tanks. Sad but fashinating. We will be back.

I’ve visitors B&L more than ten times this last month and I must say that it is very seldom I’ve dined at a restaurant that delivers excellent results every single time. Sure, the menu consists only of three options and two of them are mainly made of lobster. But I’ve enjoyed eating here by myself, with colleagues, family and more — even though I’m not thought of as a regular yet I thoroughly enjoy the staffs servicemind and going that extra armslength to make you feel like home. If you don’t have any problems with the limited menu(i.e. if your like me who cannot read a menu after a long day at work) and like lobsters you really can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend :)

Good concept. No faffing around with menu. Better than average service which is always nice. But the food… Not great. We shared the lobster roll and the burger. Both of which came with fries and a dressed salad. The burger was so salty we could barely eat it. The bread and the burger crumbled apart. The meat was tasty but ruined by all the salt so couldn’t enjoy it. The fries came salted, over salted. The salad in its dressing was inedible because of the amount of salt. And this is coming from a swede! Someone who is used to a lot of salt. God help the tourists from less salty countries!!! The lobster roll was totally OK but pretty bland. Definitely not worth 275 sek. It was a ‘cool’ atmosphere and service was good but I think all in all it was a rip off. Definitely not worth the money. And the music was too loud. Couldn’t comfortably enjoy conversation. Didn’t meet my expectations at all– sorry!

The menu is simple– burger, lobster, or lobster roll. But the choices you can make regarding the dishes– steamed or grilled, butter or aioli, and many more, makes the choices quick, simple, and delicious. We are lobster and lobster roll in my company and everyone was beyond pleased, absolutely delicious and not a crumb was left behind. The restaurant is down a flight of stairs from the bar, and one does not notice the music and people in the bar, which is wonderful. The décor is modern and the chairs unusually comfortable. The only negative here is the wall which is completely lit, blinding those facing it. All the staff are knowledgable, helpful and very kind. I can’t wait to go back and I recommend it to everyone I meet.

A restaurant with an easy concept — Serve damn good burgers and tasty lobsters. They offer a selection of three dishes; Lobster — cooked or boiled, burger or a lobster roll. All the dishes will only cost you 275SEK — Yes, even the full lobster! Had a GF version of the lobster roll and was more than happy! The lobster meat was juicy and I did not miss the brioche bun that it comes with it in the original version. In the GF version it is served in a sallad leaf and it left the dish feeling very fresh and not so heavy. Staff was great with making sure it was GF and even checked with me if I wanted a plain side sallad as the normal one had balsamico on it which had some soy sauce in it. You get good value for your money here and all the dishes can be made GF, so I will surely come again!

Nice spot, great Lobster roll, but prices are a bit steep. Sat near the kitchen and found the staff to be cleaning when they weren’t cooking… Good sign of culinary discipline, so Kudos to the Chef for training his people. Food came out looking exactly as it should, and the waitstaff was spot on. Would have given 5 stars if the pricing was more in line with the product, really a lobster sandwich…

First time here with some new friends. The place is really nice and with a good numbers of tables and booths. Nice selections of drinks and beers but of course the most important part is the food! As the name says you can order burger, lobster(boiled or grilled) and lobster rolls that are soft and sweet buns of bread filled with lobster and some mayo I think. Maybe for my English or misunderstanding I choose the COMBO! That give you the possibility to try almost everything in one shot, but is a really big amount of food! With a combo you have an hamburger and half of a lobster grilled or boiled at your choice and also a dessert. All of this for about 40 euro. Coming to the taste, the burger was not one of the best I ever had. The bread was too dry and the meat even if mid rare was not so juicy and soft as you can aspect. The grilled lobster was good but I am less expert in lobster. All of that came with a nice fresh salad with balsamic vinegar sauce and Parmesan cheese. Because of eating all of that I cannot face the dessert. It was a cheesecake mousse with a strawberry jam and strawberries. I just tasted a spoon and was good. Very sweet and soft but nice! Final considerations: maybe it’s too expansive for the quality of the food and some disorganization bringing 2 times some food at our table that was not belonging to us. The place it’s nice but I hope they improve the quality of the burgers. It’s a new activity in here and may be they just need to do some practice.

I am in love with the concept — who does not love to eat burgers and lobster so why not make a restaurant out of it? Concept is not enough though, you also have to be able to execute and the night I visit Burger and Lobster, boy do they get everything right! Service was absolutely awesome and attentive in spite of a full house. During the 30 min waiting time to get our table we grab a drink upstairs in the bar. Once seated at our table our waiter made sure we got to order pretty fast. Food came out literally 7 min after ordering and everything on that plate was delicious! I ate the lobster roll on brioche which is the best lobster roll I have ever had. There were huge chunks of scrumptious lobster tossed in Japanese mayo and the bread… the bread! Do not get me started on the lemon butter sauce — I could drink that straight out of the saucepan — so perfectly balanced! As you can tell I am pretty enthusiastic about this place so why not a 5-star? There is only one sparkling wine on the wine list which is a champagne. Although reasonably priced and delicious I would have liked to seen some more options here. The 3-item menu contains what most people enjoy but it would not hurt to add a veggie option so I do not have to leave my vegetarian friends at home. The fact that you cannot make reservations if you are a party smaller than 6 is also a negative in my book. I could never take my control freak friend here due to the stress a non-reservation would cause. Considering this place has only been open for three weeks I am very impressed over how they execute a wonderful eating experience from start to finish!

We decided to try this place since it was new and sounded interesting with only three things on the menu. It was quite easy to get a table and if you are less than 6 you can’t book a table, which is good. For some reason people in Stockholm book months in advance, myself don’t know what I crave until just hours before. We got a table and was given the drinks menu since the waitress wanted to read us the 3 mains, lobster roll, burger or lobster I think. She tried to speak with an English accent but she forgot to mention what was included in each main. And when I asked her about the sides she was unable to understand what I meant. Eventually I managed to switch the fries for a salad, but only problem was that I got two instead of one. Also she insisted that we should take a bib even though we weren’t eating lobster. And it looks really ridiculous, like a Swedish crayfish party or something. We refused of course. The clumsy waitress managed to break a glass of soda at a table next to ours and the guests weren’t that happy about it. We noticed that at a lot of the tables the waiters/waitresses were trying to find a «buddy-feeling» kneeling next to basically all the tables which I think don’t look that nice if you never seen the guests before. They also laid their hands on their shoulders and some even sat down on empty chairs when guests were paying their bills. You decide for your self what you think. The burgers arrived pretty fast which is good. They looked really good and was cooked as they should. Unfortunately there were too much salt on the burgers, the bread was cold for some reason and tasted old and stale. The meat did not hold it together and fell into small pieces every time you tried to eat it. Salad was simple, but good. There was a couple of cold fries in my wife’s fries, I guess they landed there by mistake. And there was no sauce like an aioli or similar for the fries for some reason. All together not the best burger experience I’ve had in Stockholm. I could recommend at least 5 places with much better burgers and the 275kr for the burger is best spent somewhere else. It’s hard to understand what they want you to experience since the deco tries to be modern and chic, but the chairs and table are pretty boring. Except maybe for booths along the wall. The lightning could use a couple of directed spots to vary the lighting in the rooms and make it a little more exciting. In the main room there are a couple of aquariums along the wall filled with lobsters and I guess that is a classic touch. You can see the kitchen and the chefs working which is always nice. The 800kr for two glass of sparkling wine with burgers could have been better spent somewhere else. The bar upstairs looks very nice and I think we should have gone there and had a drink instead of the food.
