The best knuckle of pork in town! Been here on many occasion and always have the same thing, pork knuckle with sour kraut and potato dumpling. There is always enough left over for me to take home for lunch the next day. I love crackling in my pork and this dish always comes with plenty of it! Does take a long time to get served for beers though and that is my only compliant!

Wandered into this wonderfully authentic place after catching a movie on Götegatan. What a find! A very good menu supplemented with a tasty array of daily specials. The wife is a goulash maven and rated tonight’s goulash as 5-star. My knackwurst(small plate) was perfect — with sauerkraut, horseradish and perfectly hot mustard. The house wine was fine and an absolute steal! Highly recommended!

This place looks at first sight like an authentic Irish pub, with lots of wood, a brownish ceiling and a brick wall on the side. Very mixed crowd, ranging from the local alcoholic from around the corner to young executives. You may want to make reservations because it really gets pretty full, and the place is not too big. The menu looked rather uninspired, but the fish soup I took was surprisingly good, and so was the house wine. And not to forget: this is one of the friendliest places I’ve been in ages. It is very easy to strike up a conversation and to feel at home — a quality rarely found in pubs abroad(or in Bavaria for that matter).
