This place is the worst in the hood. Ppl look like straight from a reality show with same attitude, bouncers beat ppl up and service non-​existent.

I took my mum here for a co-​ordinated birthday celebration and the food was amazing as well as the wines. They have set wines to all of their dishes if you don’t want to order a bottle and the wines go so well with the food and therefore ensures that you actually get a wine that compliment the food. I had the kalix roe which tasted so clean and beef with trufflepurée for the main course. My mum, who was visiting from northern Sweden where they don’t have this kind of restaurants loved it. It was perfect!
The service was outstanding. We felt very welcome and the food is great! Yes, it is pricy — but it’s worth the splurge, plus the view over Stockholm is great!

Probably the best coctails that I have ever had was made by the bartenders at Himlen. The refreshness of a minty mojito and the lovely sting of an amaretto sour, ah the taste of perfection! The view is worth a visit in itself. Just make sure that you do not go here on a payday weekend (the weekend that is following the 25^th of each month) as it gets ridiculously busy. I have not eaten here yet but uf the food is any close to the perfection of the cocktails than I understand why this place is called Heaven.

If you want a stunning view of the city but can’t afford to eat or drink here, don’t worry you can still come up the elevator and as long as you don’t bother any of the customers you will be welcome to snap some photos and have life long reminders of your time in Stockholm.
I came around 3pm on a weekday, so the place was pretty slow. The light was beautiful (photographer tip: winter sunlight is much nicer than summer). I took about 10 pictures and left #noregrets.
I almost came back for a drink after work, as I heard this is a good happy hour spot, maybe next time.

For Deb’s 30^th birthday meal, our friend suggested that we give Restaurang Himlen a try. It was his favorite restaurant when he was in Stockholm so I booked a reservation online. Almost every nice restaurant has an amazing view and Himlen’s was no exception. Located 25^th floors up, you get amazing views of the city looking across Sodermalm to the Katarina-​Sofia area of the island. As you might expect, Himlen was not cheap and with two appetizers and two entrees, the bill came out to 1200 SEK with tip (~$ 171 USD).
Deb’s meal featured the potato pancake with Swedish bleakrow, lemon smetana, and pickled onion as her appetizer, followed by the baked lemonsole and Norway lobster with Jerusalem artichoke and brown butter with soy. In contrast, I decided to try the king crab and fried oyster with cucumber, melon, and avocado cream, followed by the poke belly with chanterelles, onions, celery puré and dill jus.
While we enjoyed our dishes overall, none were totally mind-​blowing and service felt a little bit impersonal. Service (or lack thereof) was a recurring theme across every dining experience. Because no tip is generally expected when eating out, there is simply no expectation of service.
Himlen is worth a visit for the view and perhaps some cocktails. The overall experience was great, though the food itself was perhaps a 3.5 star meal.

I haven’t tried the food here but it is the best viewpoint of Stockholm. So it is worth a drink to see the view.

With gorgeous views of the city, this lounge was a fun place to grab a drink and chat with friends. Nothing too special, but a good time!

Cool place, well-​prepared and costly cocktails and great view… Perfect for night time.

Great view, and the food is nice enough but nothing special. It’s very pricey, and always jam packed.
Have eaten here once and don’t think I will again because it’s way too expensive. Have been up a few times for a drink, but was too crowded so left.

Nadie diría que en la planta superior de un aburrido edificio de oficinas hay un bar de copas chulísimo. Pues sí, lo hay y está fenomenal. Con gente bien vesida, buen ambiente y cócteles preparados con mucho cariño pero, eso sí, preicos imposibles para un español.
Yo me tomé una coca cola que me costó como 6 euros. Pero a cambio tienes unas bonitas vistas de Estocolmo iluminado, y celebrities locales que no conoces pero que embellecen mucho.

On a business trip to Stockholm, we were treated to a visit to «Och Himlen Därtill», and it was quite an experience.
The restaurant itself is located way above Stockholm city, in a building which, I learned, used to be inhabited by the Swedish tax agency. I counted no more than 8 – 10 tables in this small restaurant, which made for a quite intimate evening.
All the food was excellent, and our waiter Michael (the one with an unforgettable moustache), told very passionate about the wine, which was one delightful surprise after another.
After the meal we continued one floor up, to the bar section of «Och Himlen Därtill». This was crowded with people and the noisy environment quite a contrast to the intimate restaurant, but still retained the wonderful view of Stockholm, and it took quite a few drinks before we were able to return from heaven to the streets of the city below.

This place is worth checking out when visiting Stockholm only for the view! Preferably — enter — check out the view without visiting the bar — & leave.
The cocktails are super expensive and nothing special. The only good thing about this rooftop hangout in Sweden’s previous tax administration office rooftop is the view.

Coming to Och Himlen Därtill is sort of a disappointing experience and yet I do tend to return here now and then. The good thing about the place is that it is sky bar with some decent views of Södermalm.
The bad parts are however many more and slightly annoying: first of all the service is often bad (slow) and sometimes rude and then the prices are a bit too high to feel that it is worth the price. What is however even more disturbing is that the food is not only too expensive it is also not very good — have eaten here on a few occasions and it has never been very good.
So if you want to go here for the view just come for a drink and then go and eat and hangout elsewhere.

I enjoyed it in here, they do great cocktails as wells beer and wine. The choice of food is good too.
Not far from Soderieten, you can walk by the water before or after your visit here. It’s nice and clean like all of Sweden, and comfortable.
Of course the company makes a difference, and we were enjoying a day off
I love Stockholm, I find it truly romantic with so much sea and islands and boats and ferries and bridges.
