I don’t mind the ease of the process. It’s kinda like the self checkout at the grocery store, kiosk at the car rental place or airport. But this hotel lost a star due to my door«code» not working. I could get into the lobby area, but not my room. In order to speak to someone you can call from your cell(international cost for me) or pick up a phone on the wall and speak to an operator. After 35 minutes I finally received a new code and dropped my bags off and explored the city.

This is definitely false advertising. This is NOT a «Hotel». This is a «room rental». place… like a dormitory. Hotels have front desk, and a 24⁄7 present staff to ask and talk with. This place do not have that. If you book this place online, you will a couple of days before you arrival be sent an email, with door codes and room number. It is about 5 doors to cross with code, before you are at your room. No where in that email, it tells you that your code is not activated before 4pm, which is an unormal check in time for regular hotels. Our room did not have a window. The bathroom and shower is not big enough for two people. The TV is not in front of the bed, actually, you can only see half the tv screen from the left side of the queen size bed. Obviously you seems to pay a little less than other nearby hotels, but there is no service person present. Could not see any vending machines or ice machines. They might have been in the basement, who knows… If this place was advertized as a «room rental», I would give it 3 stars, but as a hotel it barely deserves one star, because it is not what you expected.

AKA«ROBO» Hotel. No front desk, no staff, just cleaning staff and a phone to call the corporate if anything goes wrong. PROS: Secure-you have a code to get in and the same one to go into your room(no keys) and you can’t go to the any other floor, easy to get in, no keys-just a code that is emailed to you 24 hours beforehand Efficient– did those front desk staff actually do anything for you? I like this model better Clean– the rooms were clean and the floors were hardwood instead of carpet, clean bed sheets, TV, couch that converts into a twin Location-close to Central station, easy walk, have a bar downstairs that you can get a 15% discount Rooms-we got a no windows room and we loved it, we didn’t have to deal with the sun rising at 4:30am, we could sleep in and not be bothered Mini fridge & microwave– love that they provided a mini fridge and microwave Prices-relatively cheap for Stockholm Free wifi CONS: No daily room service– they don’t clean your room or provide you with new towels everyday Towels: only 2 towels are provided. Period. That was it Air: you cannot control the air/temperature, they do make it a very good temperature but sometimes at night we got too stuffy and hot Bathroom lights: automatic, kept turning off when you were still in the bathroom, hard to turn back on by movement No vending machines-want water? well you can’t find any vending machines Check in-since it’s a robot, you absolutely cannot check in until 4pm on the spot, I guess that can be good for hotels but bad for guest if we arrive earlier I would stay here again, we had a great experience. I like this concept of the robo hotel.
