Miss Goa

The food is really good but you don’t go there for their interior exactly! It’s best to take away. The restaurant itself is very depressing but their food is pretty good!

The place is dark and incredibly tacky — imagine a mix of dark wooden wall panels and framed posters advertising India for tourists (one is even wider than the wall segment it’s ganging on). Just look at the pictures — it’s so tasteless.
I ordered a takeaway and got one box of salad, one box of dry rice and one box of the main dish. Some of the main dish was also at the bottom of the plastic bag, getting soaked up by the paper bag containing my so-dry-it’s-crusty naan bread.
The chicken pieces in the dish were chewy. Ewy, ewy. Suffice to say I wasn’t blow away.
The other review of Miss Goa here on Unilocal is pretty much raving I’ll probably have to come back and see if my order was just an uncommon mistake — but for now I’ll give it two stars. Even the Indian restaurant in Kungshallen is better — and will get you your food faster.
