I have a hard time with hair dressers because I always feel like if I get a bad haircut then it was my fault for not describing it correctly, or not realizing something was going terrible wrong mid-cut and saving myself from disaster at the last moment but I suppose there has to be some line between something close to what you asked for, and something entirely off. I feel like my experience here was closer to «entirely off». I can’t remember the name of the woman that cut my hair, but Greek heritage with black hair. I asked her to keep the length and just clean up the sides. This to me means«Keep my current style» She told me she would take off ~1cm from the front and shorten the sides. In the end it was a completely different style that while doesn’t look horrible, isn’t anything like what I wanted. But again, maybe I just don’t speak the language of hair stylists. I have this fear when I have a native English speaker so it can only get worse with a non-native one. Probably would have been worth it to go somewhere else — like a trusted Unilocaler recommended — but I was trying to save some money. At 330kr, I can’t say I’m too happy with my haircut but on the positive side she was really nice and took me immediately. And it doesn’t mean she or someone else here are incapable of a good cut. In the end I would not go here again, I don’t trust her to give me the cut I’m looking for =o\
