Kharazmi

This is a cute and lovely restaurant just off of Vasaparken. Their food is authentic and very good. The staff is kind and helpful. We really liked the gourmet sabzi and the mast-​o-​khiar. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. A good place to go for a quiet and delicious dinner. Will definitely go back!

Persian food is among our favorite, but we discovered that despite a large Persian population in Stockholm, there are limited restaurants. Luckily for us Kharazmi is right near us, and it didn’t disappoint.
We tried a couple signature dishes — ghormeh sabzi and chicken kebab.
The ghormeh sabzi was excellent, the flavor was spot on (though we personally prefer a bit more lemon). Served with delicious basmati rice. The only odd choice was the side salad which felt a bit out of place with pickled vegetables and olives (though they were good olives).
The chicken was also excellent, perfectly grilled, and served with mast (a yogurt dip) and rice as well. Again, with the good, but odd, side salad.
The only real downside for this restaurant that we can see is it’s somewhat limited menu. We’d love to find a place with tahdig, tahchin or kubideh!
We’ll definitely be back though!
