Kebab House

We dropped by Kebab House after drinking at ICEBAR so our judgments might’ve been a bit skewed, but even so, despite what some of the other reviews say, the food didn’t seem so bad. The service however, was.
While the food wasn’t amazing, our inebriated-​selves still drooled over and inhaled the plates. We also went back for seconds.
In short: Kebab House does the trick for drunchies.

I dropped by today to get a quick lunch to go, so I got a kebab sandwich with all the fixings. It’s the first time I’ve had this sort of sandwich with peppercinis, but they were quite tasty. My sandwich had way too much white sauce though, and the meat flavor could have been a lot stronger. My bread also got very, very, very soggy at the bottom, and it was not tasty. The rest of it was fine though, just okay.

I just don’t think this restaurant is as bad as some of the other reviews describe. Stockholm restaurants can be quite pricey and we had the added challenge of trying to find a place to eat on Christmas Evening. We went to this restaurant and found the staff to be exceptionally nice and the food was pretty good for the price. We had the number ten and the number 15 so we had kababs and a burger to share and frankly we thought the food was pretty goo.
This is an excellent corner restaurant for people watching, they have a relatively clean bathroom and the employees made a concerted effort to tidy up after each patron left. We liked it.

Under no circumstances should you eat here. Pita here tastes oddly of plastic, garlic sauce has no garlic and no spicy sauce in sight.
Beef or chicken or grill lamb is only possible. No shawarma. All meat lacks flavor.
One star for friendly employees.

Terrible terrible shawarma/​pita. Extremely oily and greasy. Enough grease to overflow a shotsglass. Tasted like it was filled with tomato sauce directly from a can.
Gets the honor of being the worst shawarma I’ve ever had. And I’ve tried many as I love them.
Stay away.
