A very cool rock and roll bar in the centre of Stockholm!
Although it is pretty pricey compared to others of its kind, Harry B James is a fun night out with kick ass music.
Be prepared for the awesome live bands they have playing there on a regular basis!

Good atmosphere (a living American cliché, with actual bikers included), generous portions, more than decent food. If you’re out in the cold and looking for somewhere warm where you can satisfy your hunger and have a nice cup of coffee (with the most calorific deserts ever), this is your spot.

Went on a Saturday night looking to have some fun and sing karaōke, however when my friend and I got there after paying a ridiculous cover charge, it was a different experience. The place was filled with what looked like ex convicts and bikers. The security guard came over and took our bar stools without explaining why. Did not feel safe at all and don’t recommend to anyone unless you enjoy a rough atmosphere.

On one of our first nights in Stockholm, my friends and I were wandering around looking for a bar that was open relatively late. After missing the cut off for a nearby Russian-​themed bar, the staff recommended Harry B James. They said they were doing rock and roll karaōke. We had to go, of course.
The bar itself is pretty large, though the selection for beer is not. I think there was one IPA, which was ok and the rest was your standard fare. But the karaōke made it all ok. It didn’t take long before locals got on the stage and sang their hearts out to both American and Swedish classics. It was quite excellent.
While they don’t do karaōke every night, check it out if you happen to be there on the rock n and roll night.

Düsseldorf, Germany
As the name suggests, this is a bar but also an American-​style restaurant. Whether you’ll just go here for a drink or want to have a quality dinner — this is a nice place with a lovely atmosphere to do so. The food I had was very delicious.
The waiter seemed a bit bored though, or maybe just annoyed at having to serve a non-​Swede.
