I normally go here on weekends for really good Chinese dishes. This Sunday, I ordered the Chinese barbecue ribs BUT I was not given ribs. Instead, I was served burnt slices of pork meat! Think twice before coming here! The standard has gone south unfortunately! Sadly, I will not be coming back. I guess they lost a patron today.

Keep to the Asian dishes and you are golden! Springroles are good but pricy. Comes with kimchi on the side. All noodle dishes I’ve tried are great and at good value. The dining area is light and nice, but a bit noisy and busy.

This Asian(fusion) restaurant is an offshoot of the neighboring EAT Bistro but offers lunch; noodles, meat and rice, spring rolls(3 or 6) and some other alternatives. The noodle flavor varies for different days. Order at the bar, get your buzzer, and have a seat while the chefs prepare your meal. The place is noisy and not very well-kept(no bussing of the tables), although the food is OK — it could definitely have some more spice without being to non-Swedish. This place is the very epitome of a three to me; it is good enough if you are in the area but not worth an extra trip.

Nice place filled with colorful red chinatown lights. Slightly disturbing ambient noise though. The menu on Saturdays is limited and expensive(nothing under 100SEK). The dim sum was good but not as good as you’d expect from the price.

I had some high hopes before going here but somehow it appears as if EAT Market has a difficult time deciding what they want to be. They mix the Asian style food with other European and Swedish influences in a way that is just not that good. The Asian dishes are pretty good(the noodles with chicken were decent, and the spring rolls and the dim sum were good) but then they also serve cakes, cinnamon rolls and afternoon tea. It is just a mix of everything and it appears as if they themselves do not really know if they are a restaurant for a quick bite but with quality or a café competing with the likes Coffeehouse by George or such. My fiancée tried the afternoon tea and that as truly disappointing, dry bread and short bread. I do hope that these are just opening difficulties and that they will improve as time goes on. Will also try out the bistro where they appear to stay more true to the concept.
