Je suis allée deux fois dans ce restaurant. Première fois: j’ai pu tester un plan à base de pomme de terre et viande de boeuf: simple mais bon. Deuxième fois: crêpe de pomme de terre avec du lard grillé dessus et des groseilles. Hyper gras. Mes collègues suédois m’ont confirmé qu’il y avait un souci car normalement pas aussi gras. L’une d’entre elle a même renvoyé son plat. L’accueil est parfois un peu lent mais une fois installé rien à dire. Er chose importante pour une française: le pain est bon :)

Chose this venue thanks to some very welcome reviews. The restaurant is set in a quiet part of town — around 18 mins(in an Über) from Central Station. Welcomed very warmly and shown to a good spot near the bar. The menu seemed well balanced and contained a few house specialities and a daily ‘special menu’. There was a good selection of fish and meat dishes, but chose the famous cheeseburger. I doubt that American tourists would like it, but it was superb — served with a number of fresh relishes and pickles. Friendly service and good value for a decent meal with drinks. Next time I’ll book for dinner.

My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner in Swedish National Day after watching the parades. We both had the seafood casserole which was an excellent fish stew, tomato based. Service was excellent, highly recommended.

Chef Erik Lallerstedt’s bistro restaurant is a real gem! Swedish cooking at its best — Cheese Burger, Seafood Soup, and«Biff Rydberg»; what more can you expect?! Lots of regulars and a very nice ambiance combined with professional service. Love the place!
