Went for dinner on a Wednesday night. Fairly crowded but not full. The interior is nice, lot’s of art on the walls and it has some charm. It was all decked out for Christmas so that’s kind of like cheating in a way because the human brain(at least mine) is always looking deer-eyed at all the pretty lights. The small bar looked pleasant and just when you enter there are maybe 5 – 6 seats in a more relaxed seating area with some couches and low stools(some of them face the end of the bar). There’s also a room upstairs you can rent out, of which you can only see the street style windows. But I sat in the«dining room». I liked the bread they served even without olive oil, etc. It had a nice, intrinsic taste. Can the taste of prepared food be intrinsic? Nevermind that. The muscle frites appetizer was really tasty. Really nicely flavored, ie, tons of butter and salt, haha. No, but it was nicely prepared. I got Biff Minute. The tomato salad was good, the fries were tasty and way too plentiful and served with a nice slightly kicked up mayo. The steak was okay/good. I guess it’s not the best cut of beef to begin with and I didn’t love the sauce on it but then I don’t mean to really complain about it. Just wasn’t anything special. The Bearnaise sauce was good. The key lime pie desert was very good! I usually don’t really like key lime pie because it tastes very artificial and I don’t know it’s usually just low quality. This was nice, I enjoyed it. I wouldn’t come back here for dinner necessarily because I’m not sure it has more to offer than I got on this visit, but I would return for some appetizers and drinks in the«lounge area», and I would recommend that other people come here for dinner, definitely. It’s a nice place and not too expensive.
