This is pretty much a standard review of your standard English pub situation. There is a smaller downstairs that is sparingly lit, in a good way, and a bigger upstairs with lots of room for sports watching. The interior is on the more committed side of things which is also good. The downstairs bartenders are attentive and seem to be on top of their game the times I’ve been here. Nothing much to complain about, nothing much to boast about. The beer selection has a few interesting options on bottle, otherwise it’s Brooklyn and light lager taps like most places. I’ve also been here for a show, and this is where it gets interesting. The sound was, for a place like this, really, really good. The drums were mic’d up and things got very loud, yet still clear. For a moment, it felt like a small, but real venue. I will definitely be back here for more live shows. Props to the people on the soundboard!

Very meh. Not that many TVs for watching the world cup and their projector was pretty washed out upstairs. The service was really bad. We waited as a table of 12 for 15 – 20 minutes before the server finally came over and this was after we had checked with him twice if we should just order at the bar and he said ‘No’. On his next return he brought silverware instead of beers. I think it took 30 mins from entering till we got our first drink. Food prices seemed high to me for the quantity(didn’t eat so I can’t talk about the quality). There’s just nothing redeeming about or worth a visit to this place for me. I wouldn’t recommend you go here.
