Swedish dishes in an upscale style. They were closing early due to lack of customers(on a Monday) but stayed open for me. They were very friendly and warm. The setting was comfortable and pleasant. The food was excellent. I had breaded herring with mashed potatoes. The herring was tender and very good. The presentation was pleasing. I also had an appetizer of white asparagus shoots with roe and a mustard sauce which seemed quite Swedish and was tasty. I left with a new appreciation for Swedish cuisine!

This place totally hit the spot after a whole day of walking around Stockholm in June 2010. As I understood, this is one of the oldest restaurants in the city. The classic vibe was great. Our party of 8 chose to eat outside. Beer was perfect for the crisp evening with my wife’s family. I went with the sliced ribeye and potatoes entrée. The sunnyside up egg on top of it all was the key component to the dish’s greatness. The runny yolk over the beef tasted sooooo good. It was almost like a gourmet breakfast for dinner. I was also able to sample other dishes like the veal, seafood salad and the meatball entrée and they were all very tasty as well.

habe hier meinen geburtstag gefeiert und es hat sich wirklich gelohnt! essen war prima: wir hatten als Vorspeise einmal frische und einmal geräucherte Krabben mit knoblauchbrot und als Hauptgang gebratenen seebarsch mit Pommes, gebratenen Fenchel und piementos de Patron. alle extrem lecker und da die Gastronomie auf bioprodukte und Zulieferer aus dem Umland wert legt, gibt es fünf Punkte mit Sternchen!!!
