Borgs Bageri is my favourite café in Stockholm. From the super bohemian interior design, mismatched serving plates and coffee cups, superb coffee, and large selection of pastries, Borgs Bageri had me wishing that I could transport it back to NYC so I could hang there everyday. Believe it or not, I spotted the café from the airport bus as I was driving through Stockhom on my way to central station upon my initial arrival to the city. I was stoked when I realized it was literally down the block from my AirBnb apartment. Although my travel buddy often wanted to meet up for breakfast, I made up many excuses everyday so that I could have some alone time at this café every morning before we met up. Additional perks that I have yet to mention: interesting people watching, adjacent to shopping @ Acne Archive [like omg, v exciting], free wifi, accessible outlets.

Pretty nice bakery & café, where you can have lunch(salads, sandwiches not to say smorgas). The location is cute, it has a french inspired décor with Marie Antoinette inspired Sofas on a side, then on the other side, in front of the huge pastry display, you have tables more adapted for families and working people/students who want to eat while working. The pastry /smorgas display is huge, you’ll have traditionnal swedish goods. It also has a great selection of fresh juices, lemonades, and a coffee shop corner. It’s nothing exceptional but when you’re going to Acne Archive, and want to grab a coffee or anything easily, just go there.

Nice little bakery in the basement of the Hötorget market hall. Wide variety of breads, from sweet to savory and light to substantial; we got a molasses-based semi-sweet loaf that was surprisingly fluffy. As an added bonus, the lady was perfectly happy to sell us half a loaf — not always an option.
