This theatre is terrible. It’s not comfortable at all, has zero modern conveniences(I’m talking about cup holders here), and the screen is small and awkward(you have to look up the whole time since it’s not stadium seating). The bathrooms were dirty and disheveled. I get it that the appeal of this theatre is that it’s «old». But there are old theatres that are nice and have a really cool feeling inside of them and old theatres that are crappy and this falls under the latter. Seriously, this is NOT a nice sort of old. Don’t go here. Go to Sergel’s. It’s right next door, the same price, and 1,000x better. I’ve been here twice. This place is blacklisted.

The high rating of this theater is the result of it’s interior design. It really is beautiful and has a classic feel to it with a lot of nice decorations and detail work. However, it’s no iMAX. The screen is very small, kind of feels like a 26″ TV in your living room. The sound is also a big«meh» and I’ve experienced a constant distortion problem during screenings here. Seats are small, air is bad and there’s no slope towards the screen which is placed really high to compensate for that so movie theater wise it’s a solid 1 — and that’s really what it’s all about.
